This hotel is in the old city and only about 100m from the Hippodrome. It is well known by the tour operators as being popular with Australian tourists, but I stayed there at the same time as an American couple - point being they understand English and tours. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and a small grocery store where you can get supplies. The breakfast there was amazing, nice fresh fruit tray, meats, cheeses, olives, breads, cereals, walnuts. Only thing that didn't score well for me on was the TV. It didn't work for all 3 nights of my stay after telling them twice on day1 about it. Wifi is good and there's a small private garden if you want to bring back a bottle of wine and relax after the busy crowds.
