“Great view and great location”
Reviewed 28 July 2014 via mobile

I found this hotel in Tripadvisor and my experience was great. Located in a quiet street and close to the main attractions of Sultanahmet. The breakfast was very good and the view was like a postcard. All the people working there were very nice. Wi fi never stopped working ok and it was clean.

We were at the hotel Nena few weeks ago. I hired the web page of the hotel. Everything in it is indicated as shown.
A hotel with excellent value for money. We felt at home. The kindness of the receptionists who do their best to satisfy the guest. The cleaning of the rooms and the hotel in general. All personnel serving in desayno, cordiality and warmth that are not always found. And of course a varied and excellent quality breakfast served on the terrace with beautiful city views.

Location: within walking distance of the Blue Mosque and all the attractions of the city. You can walk to most places of interest.

We had a problem with the city tour we hired through the hotel and the next day we returned the amount. This shows that guest service is priority. They are in every detail. The day of our departure we were treated turkish sweets, a treat!

What more can we say if we were satisfied and opportunity to return to this wonderful city, stay at the Hotel Nena.

Special thanks to all members of the Hotel.

I was on a business trip and had a weekend to enjoy some personal time. This hotel is great. Within walking distance to several attractions and is a nice, cozy hotel.
The walls were a bit thin as I stayed there during the world cup and could hear others cheering.
The staff is great and went above and beyond to help wherever possible.
I had to leave to catch a flight on my last morning there, but I regret that I didnt have more time to spend at the breakfast buffet. The buffet had an incredibly wide selection, and even as a vegetarian, I felt that there were plenty of things to eat. I also could not believe the breathtaking view from the balcony area of the restaurant!
The breakfast was a great value to add to this hotel.

Ps, wifi was also great at this hotel. In many hotels, you have to deal with an annoying sign in every time you want to use the internet. In this hotel it was just like being at home. I found the network name, entered a password once and was off!

Staff fantastic and friendly. View from the 5th floor restaurant has views of blue mosque, Hagia sophia and the entrance of the bosphorus and sea of marmara. Charming sunroom off the lobby. Been here 5 days so far and love it.

At this strenuous time between Israel and Turkey, we were quite apprehensive, but felt very welcomed.
The hotel location couldn't be better, within walking distance from all the major attractions, the room (301) and bathroom were very spacious and spotless clean, with a variety of amenities. The bed very comfortable. The breakfast on the amazing roof terrace was the most various and tasty I've ever seen in a hotel.
The staff were very helpful and more than that: we've booked ahead (through Nena) a post-cruise transfer to the hotel from the ship terminal at 9AM. The car was outside in pouring rain waiting for us, but the cruise-line made a mess of the disembarkation timing, and by 9.30 I found a way to let the hotel know that we'll be stuck on the ship for at least another hour. They didn't charge us for the transfer, even though they've done the trip, which we much appreciate. In the end, we made it to the hotel around noon!!!
Thank you for your hospitality, Hotel Nena!!

Room Tip: We liked our room - 301 - very much. It has a small balcony and is very quiet.

We stayed in Nena for five nights in July 2014. Though expensive it is very well located. If you book directly with the hotel you get a free transfer to or from Ataturk airport if you stay three or more nights. If you pay in cash you get 10 percent discount. Major sites are within half a mile of the hotel. Breakfast is sumptuous on the terrace restaurant. It has a lovely view of the blue mosque, AYA Sophia and the Bosphorous strait. The staff is okay and does not volunteer information. The answers to your questions are very curt and not very informative. The manager with whom I was in contact for sometime before booking did not bother to greet, meet or even say hello over the telephone. Our request for a few hours exta time before leaving was promptly denied. Yasmin from the restaurant, you an and

Room Tip: We stayed in room 303 facing the road. But it was quite quiet.

We stayed at Nena Hotel for 10 days in room 301. The hotel is situated in Sultanahmet in a perfect position for all the visitor attractions. The room was clean and although it was on the front of the hotel (we requested this) there was no road noise. You can hear other guests as the flooring is stone/marble and it does echo. The only downside to the room was the shower where the grouting had mould in places which made the cubicle appear dirty. If it has been bleached I am sure it would have removed this. Although there is a lift it only goes to the 4th floor, and the restaurant is on the 5th floor, the stairs although carpeted are spiral and would be difficult for anyone with a disability, but the rooftop view was magnificent. Breakfast is buffet style and has enough choice for anyone, made all the more delightful by being looked after by the happy Yazmin (Jasmin). Cengiz on reception looked after us well with directions and places to eat Thanks to both of them for making our stay so enjoyable.

Room Tip: Try to get a front room
