Exceptionally beautiful and full of history.
Walking distance to most places of interest including Taksim square.
Staff is extremely attentive, to a level rarely seen anywhere.
The rooms are impeccable. They still have beautiful old furniture but also have all the latest amenities, including electrically operated curtains.
Everything has been restored to perfect condition.
You can still ride in the original elevator in which Agatha Christie rode, the first electrical elevator in Turkey.
One can find lodging for a lot less, however the experience is worth it if you can fit it in your budget.
