I stayed at this Hotel with my wife from July 6th to July 13th the year 2014.
The Hotel is in a perfect location. Rooms are very spacious considering Istanbul, Sultanahmet Hotels ( I have been to many ). The air-conditioning not only it works but also in excellent condition.
As far as personnel are concerned. they are very helpful and cordial especially the guest relations Lady, my God she is an angel, she will do every thing she can to make your stay at both the Hotel and the City rather pleasant. I will write her name, I don't know if this is allowed or not. She is the gentle lady Ms. Esin Duman.
The Roof cafe is very pleasant and offer good variety of foods and drinks.
The breakfast is OK, but if you want to skip it, it is OK too.

The position of the hotel is wonderful, just 3 minutes away from the tramline, 10 minutes tops of the main attractions (AyaSofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazar), offers a secure and peaceful location. There is a free car parking in front, we had reserved before arriving. The staff is very helpful and friendly, keen to help you in any matter. The room is beautiful and romantic with poem written on the bathroom wall, efficient A/C, good and reliable free WI-FI internet connection. A small minus is the sound proof of the rooms. Some neighbours were complaining about voice sounds from the next room.
They have 2 restaurants, one is a garden restaurant nicely decorated, with 2 huge flat TV’s and one absolutely fabulous roof restaurant where you can take your dinner enjoying the extraordinary view.
We strongly recommend the hotel and certainly we will come back!

Although not luxurious (would deserve a 3-star), the hotel is along the tramway tracks, walking distance to the Great Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topapki Palace, and several Turkish food restaurants.

Had been to this location before (2011) and returned in June 2014 as easy access from airport and tramway.

Great A/C for summer time and fast wifi connection.

If you spend any time in Istanbul you will soon get fed up of people cajoling you in to restaurants. However, if you are in the area go the the rooftop bar at Pierre Loti. It is worth the visit and the staff are great. I moved three times to get out of the sun and they were fine... It was a quiet time of day mind.

Our room had poems written on the inside of its door and had a huge print of old Istanbul that we liked. The A/C was so efficient and refreshing. The Wi Fi was strong all the time. All towels smelt not only fresh but had a pleasant sent. The choice of TV? satellite stations was so wide. The Breakfast offered a wide range of tasty and nutritious dishes, that you can enjoy either in the restaurant or in the Loti Café garden, which is artistically decorated and efficiently air-conditioned. The café had a number of Wide screen TVs, which were very useful to watch The World Cup Matches. That café reminds me of road side cafes of Paris! The Hotel is truly a walking distance from the Covered Market, Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Top Kapi, Yeribatan,The central Tourist information centre, two tram stations, Sultan Ahmet Park ,three Supermarkets, Pharmacies, Turkish food restaurants and international restaurant chains. Pierre loti Hotel is really in the heart of Istanbul.

Room Tip: Rooms facing Divan Yulu are brighter and have better view of the city.
