Beyoglu is a district in the Europe part of Istambul, To get there from the old city cross the bridge through the Golden Horn. There you can find many attraction, the most visited the Galata tower, but you should'nt miss a very unique place or shopping street with the most recognized brand stores, also with many place to have a Turkish snack, go to a movie, and many other attractions. Don miss the Christian Church, Madame Tussaud wax museum. After you walk the hole street you can came back taking the old tram.
Did not make a ride on the Beyoglu, but I've seen it crossing the streets a couple times during my visit. It really gives the street its own atmosphere.

If you are in Istambul don´t forget to visit Beyoglu District. In this part of the city you will find ¨The Grand Rue¨ a pedestrian mall filled by lots of pettite nice restaurants and shops. Also you´ll be able to Galatasaray Square, Galata Tower and many other attractions.
I explored this area of the New District wandering a bit randomly and kept encountering nice discoveries. Lots of cats and cat condos in the area who appear to be well fed by those working or living in the area.
