I stayed in Aziyade for 1 week this May. This hotel is really walking distance to blue mosque, grand bazzar and many central attractions. There is a free computer with free internet. The turkish bath / spa in the hotel is also nice and free to hotel customers 10 -4 pm daily. The roof top panarama view restauant is beautiful. However, each breakfast has identical food. I heard the 4:30am praying on the 1st night. It was very impressive. The food in the restaurants near hotel are very $ reasonable. 1 thing I was so impressed - the shower has incredible water pressure. You get a great flow of water right away with 0 hesitation. I enjoyed this hotel.

this hotel located at narrow road and hillside alike. the road quite busy as well. i love the roses and other flowers in front of the hotel :) staff was friendly, wifi was free and they have welcome drink. me and my friends only stay for one night, by the way this hotel quite near to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia (10-15 mins walking distance). the room quite small for triple sharing but they have bath tub in room and hamam spa if you would like to try it.

Room Tip: maybe need to select room with outside view. our room dont have outside view, just facing another ro...

We stayed 4 days in this hotel. The hotel was well chosen, situated in the heart of Istanbul's Ancient city. The rooms well air conditioned, small though but nicely clean. Good service and very kind staff and very friendly.

Room Tip: Swimming Pool and Spa not available

This hotel claims to be a 4 stars. Maybe according to Turkish standards but not to those in north America.

My room (212) was noisy as hell it faces a shoe workshop where they knock on shoes until midnight. It was so annoying. The street echoes every noise in the room. Although I complained, they didn't offered to move me. I figured that since I already paid, they didn't feel the need to accommodate.

The ramps in the staircases were not solid enough and could have represented a hazard.
I asked for the laundry service. A wash and fold operation for no more than a load. They wanted $65 CND. I had the Manager to reduce it at half of the cost which still was too much. Obviously the Manager (Ali) was not interested in hearing complaints at all.

The buffet in the morning always offered the same things. Although food was of good quality, (except for the powdered eggs) they could have been more creative in the offer.

Staff were helpful.

Room Tip: Stay away from ROOM 212

although we arrived at morning, the reception gave us our room, compared to hotels in istanbul this hotel was really clean, friendly staff, free drinks in lobby, great breakfast in terrace with wonderfull view, good location, long walk to metro or tram, all together great stay.

We spent 4 days in Istanbul to see all the sites of ancient culture there. The hotel was well chosen, situated not far from any of these sites in Istanbul's Ancient city. The rooms well air conditioned, small though but nicely clean. Good service and very kind staff. - We did not go to the hotel's hamam, but it is said to be good and relaxing.
Breakfast was included and good with some typically oriental food. You can take it out on a beautiful terrace with a splendid view of the city and the sea - the great ancient mosques with their elegant minarets!
The restaurant provided a very nice atmosphere, and sitting on the terrace while the evening came, the mosques were lit and the oriental dream became perfect! We will choose the same hotel for a second stay there.

Had it not been for the close distance to the popular attractions like the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sofia Mosque and the like. Then this hotel would most likely not be as popular as it is. The rooms were a bit small but alright, although I dread about the people having to stay there during the summer-time! (Sauna!)

The breakfast buffet was a disaster and completly inedible, apart from the yoghurt that is. The staff was friendly and helpfull, and the main-floor lounge with free ice-tea and magazines, in comfortable leather chairs and couches was great though.

Also the majestic view from the top-floor restaurant makes you forget the terrible food.

I would probably stay there again, but mainly due to the location.
