Reviewed 21 June 2013 via mobile

We stayed for three nights in June, over a long weekend. The staff was very friendly (if not smiley, but we had that a lot in the city) and offered us a room to change when we went back all soaked from rain on our last day. We got upgraded to a family room which was very spacious, but probably older than the double we had seen in the pictures. Having no way to block out the light, we ended up having fairly bad sleep, which the unconfigurable ac pointed directly on the bed did not help either. The room was reasonably clean and so was the bathroom if old. The position is very nice close to the gran bazaar. With an European perspective this seems an expensive hotel for what it offers.

I booked this hotel via phone when I was at Istanbul so it is cheaper. The hotel location is very near most of the tourist attractions within walking distance, e.g. Grand Bazaar, St Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque,Topkapi Palace...etc. Also it is very near the tram station (TL3 all stations). I took it to the pier and then a public ferry as it is cheaper (TL10). My room is Rm601 with free Wi-fi. The facility is very basic but the service is good. The only complaint for me is the wall is very thin so I can hear what the next door conversation. However, the hotel is not near any disco or bar so it is ok for me. Breakfast is basic but acceptable.

Room Tip: Day1 Grand Bazaar, St Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque, Underground Cistem, Hippodrome, The Obelisk and Su...

I stayed in hotel inter Istanbul for several days. It is a clean and nice hotel. What I enjoyed staying at this hotel is its proximity to a number of touristy places. It is within walking distance to the Grand Bazaar. Five minutes from your hotel, you can find the tram lines and you can take it to go to tak sim, or the blue mosque if you don't want to walk. Otherwise it is about fifteen minutes walk to the blue mosque, or the basilica cistern which is a might see place.

The hotel is basically a no frills hotel. I availed their airport pickup facility which was very good and handy. Internet in the hotel was very good. They told me that they have 1000 channels on television but in terms of English, they had only news channels. No movies or sports channels in English.

Hotel in itself was very clean and quiet. It is very close to tram and local attractions which is a plus point. Breakfast was ok. It might be good for western citizens, but being from Asia I did not liked the breakfast and gave it a miss.

I got the room on 6th floor as per my request and the view of Marmara was nice. Reception staff was helpful, but staff did had problem in communicating in English.

In short if you want a decent, reasonably priced hotel whereby you need the hotel just to sleep then this is a good bet. As i use to leave in the morning and return late at night, I found this hotel good and area around the hotel bustling with activities till midnight.

Will consider returning back at this hotel if I visit Istanbul again.

Room Tip: If you want room with a sea view, ask for the room on 6th floor.

Not a luxury hotel, but great value for price. The hotel was clean and the location was great, very close to virtually everything we wanted to see...and close to the tram if we didn't want to walk. We used their airport transfer service and we were glad we did since our flight was delayed. We appreciated the hot breakfast, and we certainly found the staff to be helpful.

Room Tip: ask for 6th floor for a room with the views of Marmara...

The hotel is very nice, and the location is perfect. I would gladly use this hotel again when returning to Istanbul. Staff was very helpful and they picked us up and returned us to the airport in a large van.

Room Tip: I like room 602, it was high enough you have a nice view of the sea and nice breeze in the evenings.

We stayed for four nights at this hotel. It has a very positive feature of being extremely close to some of the most important tourist sites of Istanbul. That includes five minute walk to the tram system. Additionally it has excellent wireless access in all rooms. We were fortunate enough to be on the sixth floor which provided nice views over the Marmara Sea. Other rooms would not provide this view. Unfortunately the staff were not particularly helpful and did not appear to know that there were many excellent restaurants within a couple of hundred metres of the hotel. The breakfast at the hotel is not worth the ride in the lift. The rooms are extremely basic and noise from other occupants is a real problem. There are many other hotels which have the same access to tourist sites and public transport and they would provide a better option than this particular hotel.
