The hotel is ok, room in the back side a little bit small but without noise, and clean. The reception stuff is not very helpful, we were carrying a lot of baggage and nobody even opened the door for us. The breakfast is ok, maybe boring after the first days. The best thing is the restaurant, very good food, very good prices and the best view to all the mosques, the old city, the galata bridge, beyoglou, Bosphorus, gold horn, Bosphorus bridge, Top kapi and Agia Sophia!!

You need no more than an hotel in a central place near to famous sightseeing destinations with an average price and near to two tram points which you can use to transport easily to your destinations or to have a cheap nice tour at night, also there is a near train station to go into the nice aquarium aqua florya and you can go to taksim by taxi. walk up early to enjoy the delicious breakfast in the terrace with wide view to Istanbul and start your day, for dining you can buy shawerma sandwiches which are the cheap and great or you can enjoy the oriental sweets in shop in the same street called hafez (not sure of its second name) . There are near shops to buy clothes and shoes in the street behind yeni mosque.

Excellent location for sightseeing. Within easy walking distance of The Blue Mosque, Haga Sophia and other popular sights. Friendly staff and reasonably well maintained rooms, if a little in need of updating. The rooftop restaurant has amazing views of the city and the Bosporus. They served a wonderful selection of food for breakfast although the evening meals were average. Would stay there again.

This hotel ticked all the boxes for location -near to major sites and transport systems. Good value - clean, comfortable and staff very well informed and helpful. Breakfast - wide variety and stunning views from dinning area. Would definitely stay there again. Beds were comfortable did not find them hard, staff very helpful. We had three separate rooms and noise was not an issue as it was hot so had windows closed and air con on.

Room Tip: The Hotel is in the centre of Istanbul so if you are worried about noise stay outside the city.

Well-located small hotel in Old City of Istanbul. Room clean and reasonably appointed and good value for money. Tram stops 200m away so very easy to get around the city. Reasonable restaurants close by. Excellent rooftop vista. Staff efficient but need to learn to smile!

Room Tip: Rooms on north side face tram street

Very nice people, but issues. Found room door open after cleaning. Beds are ruining ones back: rockhard. Rooms on streetside have soundissues with frequent trams and partygoers. Nice roofterrace. Beds are the not-returning issue for us.

Leaving the airport, you need to get two 3 Lira travel tokens from the ticket machine, take the Metro for six stops to Gulhane, cross over the track and take the tram heading in the same direction for 17 stops to Zeytinburno Follow the tram track along the street, the hotel is located on the left hand side, before the first intersection. Staff are helpful, particularly the young guy with really good English, everywhere of historical interest is within walking distance, and the ferry boats are a few minutes walk away. The view from the restaurant is excellent,as is the breakfasts and the evening meal. Would have liked a safe in the room and the mini bar is way too expensive, apart from that,a most pleasant week in the Seres Hotel, would recommend it highly.

Room Tip: If street noise is a problem, reusable ear plugs from Booths chemist really work.
