Great location, walking distance to most tourist attractions, excellent restaurants on the door steps.first and foremost are the staff working in the hotel, they are a credit to the industry of hospitality. Especially the front desk, nothing is too much trouble for them.A very big Thank You for making our stay in Istanbul from a good one to a great one. Will definitely recommend The Sapphire
to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of old Istanbul, close to the Topkapi Palace & The Blue Mosque. The tram and the railway station are close too. The staff are very welcoming,we had a lovely room on the tiop floor overlooking the Sea of Marmara/The Bosphorous and the new city. The air con was a joke,as our beds were set in a recess,it did not reach us. the room was well equipped with a mini bar and a tea tray(there is a wonderful little corner shop, next to the hotel, that didn't seem to close). The bath was a joke, getting into it required a gymnastic badge(all our tour complained about it),when you got in,it was great. There were some nice toiletries, the towels were a good size. We didn't like the evening meals much. The breakfasts were excellant, with fresh honeycomb, cereals, hot foods, breads, fruit and much more. There are an amazing array of restaurants in the street outside, which offer cheaper beer than the bar.

Room Tip: Try to get one at the back of the hotel,it's less noisy

This hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of practically everything. Located on a pedestrian street, there are multiple cafes directly in front. (Go to the left on the corner for a WONDERFUL dinner). The front desk could not have been more helpful. The rooms were adequate. Unfortunately we didn't have a nice view but we did have a plentiful breakfast including made to order omelets. The room was quiet and I would recommend the hotel as a reasonably priced base for seeing the sites in the old city.

This hotel has everything going for it. It's very conveniently located in relation to tourist attractions, transport and good restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful. After a refreshing welcome drink and Turkish delight, you are given useful information about the location and getting to different sites in the city. The rooms are large, comfortable and attractive. The breakfast has great variety, including freshly-made omelette if you desire, and real honeycomb!

Very friendly welcome, lots of info offered. Rooms pleasant and reasonable size. Breakfast a little eclectic but plentiful. Sadly they don't use their roof terrace - not sure why? Location is absolutely perfect for sightseeing - within easy walking distance of main attractions and surrounded by wall-to-wall restaurants. We were presented with a gift when we checked out - a very nice touch. Would happily stay here again.

A short walk to Aya Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Archeological Museum, Blue Mosque, Galata Bridge, plus near the tram line. A very clean customer friendly establishment with a real value in that a full excellent value breakfast is provided everyday with custom made omelets and more!!

Room Tip: Hotel is on a pedestrian street so all rooms are quiet. Hotel picks you up at airport for free. A sm...
