The tower is really interesting with nice views of Istanbul. We had a breakfast there which was quite good except the tea and the coffee. For such place it must be possible to serve good tea and coffee. Serving it free of charge cannot be a good reason for the level. It is amazing to know how the tower sustained in the midle of the bosphorus for such a long time. Simply said we liked it.

One of the most attractive venue of Istanbul day and night...In the middle of the Bosphorus you cross by boat, either from European or Asian side...Must read its history as a fairy tale...Worthed to climb the roof for the best view ever in Istanbul...Ideal shooting at sunset...Might be attractive for romance seekers at night time...There is a restaurant and bar serving 7 days a week and live music as well, Reservation recommended, yet beware of the overpriced rates at the restaurant!!

My husband took me to Kiz Kulesi for our one year anniversary in 2010. While the boat trip was a slow death (I get horrible motion sickness especially in boats), the restaurant and island itself were awesome. The dinner was great and the dessert was delicious. It was chilly in the restaurant so the staff there gave me a fleece blanket to keep warm. I would recommend it for something special. Otherwise it's really just the tower and restaurant.

The tower is interesting and it is nice to take the boat out into the "middle" of the strait, but there is really not much there. The boat ride is also a tad more expensive than what I think it is worth, we paid 20 lira for the trip. But nice tower, fun to have been there.

The tower looks really nice from wherever you see it. To go there was not expensive (10 TL), but also there was not much to see and I wouldn't go there again. You can go upstairs tohave a little view.To drink tea or eat there is expensive and not worth it. (small glass of tea was 5 TL)
