I stayed at this hotel first with a group, then two days afterwards on my own. It is a great location --close to the Blue Mosque, Archaeological Museum, Markets and Restaurants. One note: if you have mobility challenges, this is not the place for you--no elevators. The staff will help you with luggage, so moving your suitcases is not an issue. The breakfasts were delicious and varied--a spread set out on the bar--olives, cheeses, cereals, baked goods as well as hot items like scrambled eggs with tomatoes. You could eat inside or out on the patio and watch the street (narrow but busy with cars and pedestrians) activity--great people watching.
The rooms were spotlessly clean. As I always travel with ear plugs, I did not notice noise. The rooms had air conditioning and since I run hot, that was important. I agree that if you are booking a double, specify two beds if that is required. The staff was wonderful both in giving directions and in making suggestions. I was warmly greeted and when I left, I felt I had visited family--a good feeling.More
