The Divalis Hotel is ideally situated in the old city and very close to the main attractions, many restaurants as well as the metro to go further afield. It is a small, family owned and run establishment and as such the staff members are extremely helpful, friendly and eager to assist providing personal and warm attention to all one's needs. The rooms and bathrooms are stylishly furnished, comfortable, and spotless. The airconditioning worked well and breakfast was lovely, especially sitting out on the patio an watching life go by on the busy little street. The complimentary wi-fi worked beautifully. I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit Istanbul. I would certainly go there again.

I stayed at this hotel first with a group, then two days afterwards on my own. It is a great location --close to the Blue Mosque, Archaeological Museum, Markets and Restaurants. One note: if you have mobility challenges, this is not the place for you--no elevators. The staff will help you with luggage, so moving your suitcases is not an issue. The breakfasts were delicious and varied--a spread set out on the bar--olives, cheeses, cereals, baked goods as well as hot items like scrambled eggs with tomatoes. You could eat inside or out on the patio and watch the street (narrow but busy with cars and pedestrians) activity--great people watching.
The rooms were spotlessly clean. As I always travel with ear plugs, I did not notice noise. The rooms had air conditioning and since I run hot, that was important. I agree that if you are booking a double, specify two beds if that is required. The staff was wonderful both in giving directions and in making suggestions. I was warmly greeted and when I left, I felt I had visited family--a good feeling.

Room Tip: Upper floors meant more stairs but were probably quieter.

Located a few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, the hotel is very convenient. The staff are friendly and do everything they can to ensure guests have a good stay. The deluxe room and bathroom were excellent. We would return here and recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Deluxe room is worth the extra, more spacious and a better view.

This hotel's location is great (easy walk to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque), but it is therefore noisy on the street side, so bring earplugs. Staff was charming and accommodating. My only complaint is that the hotel accepted bookings for our group of 12 women for twin-bedded rooms, which cost more. When we arrived, several women had been assigned to rooms with one full bed to share. We were told the other rooms were already occupied, so there was no choice but to accept them. I would therefore caution those who are sharing a room and really, seriously want twin beds to look elsewhere.

Room Tip: Confirm and confirm again if you are expecting a twin-bedded room to share. This hotel did a bait-a...

Our group of 13 women absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms aren't large but they're a great size for Istanbul, they're fresh and seem to be newly decorated with very good bathrooms. Breakfast was fabulous too. Altan took care of our group booking and ensured that our stay at the hotel was as good as it could possible be. We couldn't want for anything more. It's in a great location, everything you'd want to see is on the doorstep. We'll be recommending the hotel. Thank you!
