when ı see the hotel first in the begining ı was expecting to see bigger and more luxury.. but it was still nice and wonderfull experiance for me .. because hotel stuffs was great ,they help us about every information that what we need a..location was really great ,after 300 metres you would be just infront of blue mosque(which is one of most important historical place to see) and 200 metres you are just in front of hagia sophia museum its also incrediable and most important historical districs are just wals distance and also sea side is close to hotel (we like to run in the morning around boshporus.. price wasnt expensive when you compare with other hotels.. its a budget hotel and exactly you would get what you pay that is why ı would higly recomment that hotel to everyone.and even now we start to plain our next trip agean turkey and probably we gonna stay in that hotel agean.. thanks guys you did take care of us very well:).. and dont forget to visite also to see grand bazaar that is one of most biggest shopping center fo the world

While it's true this place is close to the Blue Mosque, that's about the only thing it has going for it. The rooms are tiny, so overcrowded with furniture that the bedside table blocks the entrance to the bathroom. The traffic was noisy and we slept badly. The shower was broken (which we told them about after checking in, and wasn't ever fixed, despite their claims they would fix it), and there was no lid to the toilet, and the seat was broken, and not the same size as the toilet (smaller). The bathroom had a bad smell, the towels were threadbare, and there was no topsheet or duvet or bedcover of any kind. The wifi didn't work well in our room. The breakfast area is very cramped and crowded, and the breakfast offerings were fairly sparse. And as another reviewer mentioned, reception is a guy with a laptop in the breakfast area. My husband and I took a walk the morning after our first night (we were supposed to stay 3) and found another hotel, closer to both the Blue Mosque/Aya Sofia, which was also much better AND cheaper.

I've never left a bad review before, but the reviews here are SO far off reality, that I felt it was necessary. I'd highly recommend looking at the rooms in person before booking them!

Me and my partner came to the hotel just at the beginning of this year. The hotel was a good price for us being just a young couple from different continents, and choosing this hotel for our 4 monthly meeting was a good idea.
We was greeted by the staff and helped with our bags to our room.
The hotel Manager is a Very Good man me and my partner spent many times talking to him, laughing and on our last night we all sat and had tea and had a good conversation for hours, really the manager is a good man he would help anyone if they asked. His aim is just to please people.
The room was a good size for me and my partner to stay, the bed was larger than a double, it was clean, tidy - mirror, paintings, good lighting, hair dryer, walldrobe, fresh towels, crisp white newly painted walls and more... The bathroom was clean and was rather like a shower room. There is a bright light above the sink which I liked!

The breakfast was fine for being FREE with the hotel. You will find, fresh bread, traditional Turkish bread, spreads, salami, types of cheese, olives, cakes, orange, coffee and more...
We had the breakfast every morning and coming in late every night seemed amazing for me in the morning! Even one morning I was offered some traditional apple tea, I liked it so much the manager (GREAT MAN) gave me a free packet.

In an AMAZING location! The Beautiful Blue Mosque is a 5 min walk, as well as shops, stalls, restaurants. There is a huge bazaar just up the tram way. The Marina is not far too where you can get a ferry over to the other side of Istanbul and it’s just around 15 lira to catch a taxi to a couple clubs in Beyoglu! Really it is a beautiful area for someone like me with an interest in world travelling!

I really can't understand the review before mine because we had the opposite experience; maybe they were too stuck up and expected 5 stars! It’s a small family hotel! If they had a problem, why not tell them you’re not satisfied, I'm sure they would have tried to make your experience better if not, find you another place, after all you pay at the end of your stay for this reason; they don’t want to grab your money.

Anyway! GREAT time here!! Especially the Hotel Manager!

Thank you for reading, hope you enjoy your stay like we did.

Room Tip: Get your breakfast before 10am. Ask for bottled water, it is free. If your not satisfied tell the...
