Actually it locates in great place .. SULTAN AHMET
You can go any where by using Tram ..
I thing one of the great things is the area which surround the hotel .. cuz you are the center of the city
You don't need to get taxi to go to other places .. what you need is around you

Wonderful place .. I advice you to go there

Good location, nice apartment, owner extremely helpful and courteous but I had to leave early in the morning with an ice cold shower.

As this is a condominium not a hotel it was not the fault of the owner but the water was freezing and that is what counts.

Sorry but I cannot recommend.

Dear Guest,

First of all, thank you for sharing your experience here with the tripadvisor community..
We are always willing to improve the service we provide our guests and we always listen to what is said or recommended. There was a technical problem with the boiler and it was only for a day & not even for 2. It was fixed as soon as it was reported and this was the best we could do after being aware of the problem. It has been little more than a year so far since the Safran was opened and this is the first case about the cold water problem and hope will be the last one as well. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience that we caused you.

I stayed at safran suites in istanbul and it was my second hotel in istanbul. As soon as i arrived the owner and manager greeted me and were very very welcoming. After i settled in he told me to come down and gave me a map and explained different tours that were famous in istanbul. He was very informative and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone staying in istanbul . Thank you guys for a wonderful experience and i will definately stay with you guys again when i return to istanbul !

The hotel is located in a very convenient position with respect to some of the most beautiful Istanbul monument. The owners were very kind, gave us a warm welcome. The room was clean and large. Food at the restaurant was good. The only minor weak point: some difficulty with the POS eventually prevented us to pay with the credit card and forced us to loose some time around between versateller and exchange offices.

Very nice and spacious room. We were in the basement so there wasn't a lot of natural light but it still felt bright and airy. The room was spotlessly cleaned daily.

The owner is friendly and helpful. The hotel is really more like an apartment house; there is no sign or anything so we couldn't find it initially but they also own the restaurant across the street and when they saw we were wandering around aimlessly, the owner came running out to help us.

I have 3 small complaints: The internet is a bit spotty, maybe because we were in the basement. There are very few electrical outlets and they are in inconvenient areas. I had to plug my laptop into the one next to the mounted TV, which is pretty high up the wall and put my laptop in a chair so it would reach. Not a big deal but it would be nice to have other options. And because of lack of outlets, there are no bedside lamps, which would also be nice to have. The cleaning woman does not knock before entering and we were there every day she came. Again, not a big deal, but she really should knock.

Overall, this is a great stay in a very convenient part of town and I would happily stay there again.
