I like the hotel very much it had a great location near the tram station tophane and 8 minute walking to karakoy port and 13 to eminönö also you can reach taqseem by 13 minute walking . The breakfast view is great you can see the phosphors while you are eating . The staff are friendly and ready to help.

However, In the triple room, the size of the beds were pretty small

The minute we walked through the front door we were greeted with a smile, open arms and great tasting tea by the receptionist Sevgi and attendant Jusuf.
All our arrangements were taken care of professionally! She informed us about places to see, how to get there, about how much it would cost and distance. Using her contacts she would arrange for transportation to wherever we needed to go or to do!
Her knowledge about Istanbul, it's sights was astonishing! Yusuf was a superb support in getting settled in our beautiful,clean,
very comfortable room. He attended to all our needs! Every morning for breakfast with great variety of food for every palate Yusuf would greet us in the very clean breakfast area or on the roof terrace where the scenery of surrounding area was breathtaking. The feeling of safety, comfort and belonging was just like being at home!!! The best in every sense of the word!
It was hard to leave after meeting such wonderful, professional, friendly people such as Sevgi and Yusuf!!!
Staying at the Karakoy Port Hotel was the best decision we made, it was very close to the Tram which would get you around Istanbul or walking distance to many sightseeing places!
