“Charming hotel”

The hotel has fabulous rooms and friendly staff. Located in a quiet street at nisantasi, 50 meters to vali konagi ave. which is full of cute shops with famous brands and restaurants. Comfortable room with excellent bed. Wi fi was fast and free. Special thanks to the staff. They arranged a perfect airport transfer, gave good advices about the places to visit, trying to do their best.

The staff was super nice. The decoration was super interesting. Good location in the middle of Nisantasi. The wifi worked without any problems. General ambience was charming, breakfast and breakfast room were a delight and service throughout from ALL members of staff was refreshingly and naturally warm. Everything combined to make for a most pleasant and relaxing stay in what can be a frenetic city. Muted elegance combined with truly secure professionalism. Congratulations!!

Me and my friend stayed at this hotel for three nights and we absolutely loved it! The staff was very friendly, at check- in we were immediately offered orange juice and then escorted up to our room. The room was not big - but the size you'd expect for the money, it was comfortable enough for two. The room had a tea kettle and some complimentary tea bags which is convenient. The location is great, hotel is located on a small side street (and is sometimes hard to find for Taxi drivers) just off Vali Konagi cd, minutes away from all the shopping, and only 20 minutes walking to famous Taksim square. The beds were very comfy, the hotel is newly renovated and is in a very nice condition. Free wifi is available as well.

The only downside I would say was the breakfast selection - which could have been better, and for some reason the hotel did not have any city maps available, which I thought was a bit strange.

I would definitely recommend it to others and stay there again myself, only this time I'd bring my own map :) .

This is my second time in this great little hotel. They have really friendly and helpful staff that couldn't do enough to help. It felt like home again. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
The location is perfect just 2 min walk to the metro. 10 min walk to Cevahir (big shopping mall). You can also walk to Taksim in 10 min.
Nisantasi is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Istanbul, you have so many shops, restaurants and cafes. Very recommended and I look forward to come back soon!

After reading the great reviews of this hotel I went against my common sense being a frequent traveler to Istanbul ... (To avoid small boutique hotels) here because they keep on disappointing me... This stay came to assure me never to try them again regardless of all positive comments on trip advisor or any other site.... Yes it is true that the hotel location is great the rooms are tastefully designed... The bathroom is very nice... But the overall experience is very disappointing in many small details... The sheets as a fellow traveler said are not cotton they are cheap polyester... The staff seemed obliged to try to be nice but it is not genuine and it shows... From check in there was a difference between the rate I had in $ and what the hotel had in Euros... I tried in vain to explain that they should change euros into dollars but he wanted to change euros into Turkish liars and then into dollars which is stupid really but the front disk guy was trained not to understand... The breakfast is buffet is very small with a limited choice ... The rate we had was 156 euros for a normal room in a hotel that has no facilities which was available at the same time at 5 star hotels in the same area like Ramada Plaza ... We had to checkout one night earlier although the reservation we had was paid in full with no possibility of refund ... We moved to the nearby much logical newly opened Lasagrada Hotel because I couldn't tolerate the poor choice I made of choosing a hotel that has absolutely nothing to offer but a good room.

Stayed here for three nights in April 2013 while on vacation. Small hotel on quiet street about 1 block from major subway entrance, shared taxi line and just a few blocks from the haute shopping district of Nisantasi. Good restaurants and shopping nearby. Decent breakfast. Rooms quite spacious for Europe with many modern features. The hotel is new (few months old), but my bathroom tub didn't drain well and the room didn't ventilate well, preventing my washed clothes from drying quickly after I hung them in the shower (still wet after a day hanging!). Staff is incredibly friendly and speak reasonably good English. I probably wouldn't stay here as an Istanbul tourist, but if here for business or in this part of town, it's a solid hotel at a reasonable price.

Room Tip: Given the location, I don't think any side of the hotel would be worse than another. I suppose f...

I reserved at this hotel based on the evaluations below, and it is fine, but perhaps not as over the top as some might lead you to think. ("5 star" seems remarkably bubbly.)

Here's the good stuff: REALLY quiet rooms (especially at the back, rooms ending in 2 or 3), clean room, comfortable bed, helpful staff.

Here's what you would expect at this price point: decently appointed rooms, (minibar, tv, internet, safe, good location IF YOU KNOW THE NEIGHBORHOOD - on a nondescript back street).

Here's where they could improve, at least for experienced travelers: the bed coverings are low quality cotton or poly/cotton, and scratchy, at least to my delicate little face. In Turkey, known for textiles, they could have much better sheets. Towels are good. The duvet and pillows are polyester. Adequate, warm, but not..."ahhhhh," which I think these guys could do with a little work. The single rooms (second and third floor, I think) are SMALL - I'm sitting at the desk and you couldn't walk behind me between the chair and the bed. Think Euro small. No bottled water in the room. Breakfast buffet is nice, nothing to write home about.

Here's what really smokes me, but it's not the hotel's fault. I took this hotel because booking.com suggested that the price was a huge reduction over the normal price. Not true. Best price (March '13) of 99 Euro is *on their website* NOT at booking.com which is 109 Euro. Rack rate, if you walk in the door, is 140 Euro. So - if you want to be in this shopping district, in safe, quiet, clean accommodation, use the hotel's website. It's a family-run establishment and obviously trying to do a good job.

Room Tip: On second and third floor, at least, rooms ending in 2 or 3 are at the back and are *incredibly* qui...
