Great new hotel in the middle of the old city, very nice and helpful staff, great rooms - big, very clean and comfortable, comfortable furniture and beds. Near to the old market, Hagia Sophia, Topcapi etc.

So we had to go to Istanbul and we were utterly confused with which hotel to choose... the problem being one of choice... as there are just tooooo many options and impossible to decide.

For some reason the Eurostars appealed to me and even though there were many other hotels in a similar price and a higher rating, I still went with my gut instinct and chose the Eurostars.

So here's my first hand experience...

The best thing about the hotel is the location, 5 mins walk to the Topkaki Palace and the Sultanahmet Square as well as the Blue Mosque.

The hotel is 2 mins away from the Eminonu Port so the ferrys are right next door to take you anywhere you wanna go in Istanbul, even the Bosphorous Tours start from here and incase you are interested in one then taken ONLY this one...

http://sehirhatlari.com.tr/en/timetable/short-circle-cruise-363.html

It costs 10 Lira for 2 hours which is about 5 USD. I saw people paying 40 Euros for similar tours elsewhere.

Coming back to the hotel... so the sightseeing is next door.... the ferry port 2 mins... the metro station less than a minute... the place is bustling at all times and there are many eating places everywhere you look. including one bang opposite the entry of the hotel serving yummy turkish food.

I saw a lot of reviews with people complaining that the rooms are small..... i took a Superior twin room and it came with a queen bed and a single and was perfect. My room was on the front side so it was fun watching the street. The room and the bathroom were both spotless and the size was big enough and perfect.

The best thing about the hotel is the staff... I would like to take a minute and specially thank both the managers on duty during our visit, they were always eager to help and had solutions for any issues we had, and these were not related to the hotel - travelling, fixing meetings, explaining people the way, where to eat, absolutely ANYTHING !

All in all... this hotel is highly recommended for tourists and business people alike !

I would always stay here, anytime I come to Istanbul, which will be often now !

Room Tip: A superior twin room on the front side of the hotel should do the trick !

A very very nice hotel, nice folk, very friendly and helpful. In an interesting part of the old city, in walking distance of attractions and near to many open-air eating establishments. The breakfast has an extensive range. Remember to buy water from street stalls - far cheaper. The hotel is near the railway station, tram (really light real) and the harbour. Hard to find initially from Ankara St, look for the red awnings on the upper windows of the hotel above the lolly shops. The entrance is from a non vehicular laneway. The trams are very dangerous in narrow Nobethane St - be really careful, and obey the pedestrian lights! The hotel is very clean and well lit on the outside. Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent place to stay in Sultanahmet area, walking distance to all the old city attractions: Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazar, Galata Bridge etc. stayed for two nights last December. Great service by everyone in the hotel particularly Ali Riza at the front desk was very gracious and helpful with any information we needed. Breakfast was pretty good, particularly the Turkish soups they had in the morning...Rooms are little small but very clean with modern decor...

I have stayed in this hotel for five days, recently. The hotel seems to newly built, with excellent beds, fittings and furnishing. Despite of being close to a busy road, the room was reasonably quiet. The room was very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful. However it was the breakfast, which really impressed me. I have been staying in different Sultanahmet hotels over the years. However the breakfast at Eurostars beats all others. Thanks to the chef Nurjan and hosts Cemile and Merve, having breakfast in Eurostars was an extraordinary experience. The food was of highest quality and was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Standard rooms are small and suitable for those travelling with less luggage. I got mine upgraded to...

Loved everything about this hotel. The location was perfect, close enough to the historic sites and tram station and also close to the Spice Market, Grand Bazaar & Bosphorous River for boat trips. Booked a Superior room with city view & balcony, room was spacious, clean and warm, staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was a delicious selection of hot & cold cheeses, meats, breads, fruits & lots more.Definitely value for money & would stay again. Perfect!

Very centrally located in the old city . If you want the grand bazaar, the blue mosque and Sophia... they're minutes away.

Clean and modern rooms, awesome shower. Excellent staff service and around the corner from fabulous Turkish delights.

Pricing not excessive.
Breakfast average due to the effort of meeting western requirements and in contrast to the wide array of choices outside the hotel.

Would definitely stay there on the next visit.
