Interior design is superb and well thought out, offering a truly Turkish feel and experience. Free Turkish bath and spa facilities was another added bonus. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Hotel is located in the close proximity to both subway and Tunnel as well busy Istical street. From the very start service was excellent and above our expectations, staff always on hand and ready to assist.

Istanbul is really fascinating city, and Daru Sultan ideal place to stay - located centrally, in an old, historic, "european" part of a city. A lots of nice restaurants and bars i n the neighbourhood, vith vivid nightlife. Located on the hill, has a superb view at the Istanbul and Bosporus Channel.

The room is very nicely decorated. The only thing that bothers me about it is that I couldn't really see myself in their really dark mirrors. On the other hand, the cleaning ladies are terrible. When I left some of my peanuts on the table, with a plan to eat them later, I found an empty package when I returned. Also, my mom realized that they squeezed her lotion out, as she couldn't get it out. And it was bought one day before the trip. My makeup was used up, too. I don't know how they can play around with stuff that clearly doesn't belong to them! If you are planing to visit this hotel, I'd recommend you to pack all your cosmetics and food away before you leave the room.

Stayed for 4 nights with the family during 23-26 March 2014. We arrived in the morning & were supposed to wait until 2pm to check-in, but the hotel management arranged our room almost immediately. They also let us check-out late at 2pm. on 27th March 2014.This is a great hotel with extremely professional & helpful staff. Staff can provide you with the complete information about Istanbul and tourist destinations you must go. Staff can speak English, Turkish, German, French and Russian.
Excellent rooms with daily cleaning and changing of bed linens, towels & bathrobes. The rooms are finished in the classic Ottoman style and are so cozy and we loved our room so much. The bathroom is clean and marvelous. Each room is named after a sultan our their spouses and it really feels like travelling through to Ottoman times. We stayed at the Grand Delux Yavuz Sultan Selim room and completely felt like and everything was well arranged. Many thanks to the Hotel staff and management.

The hotel is located in the really convenient location- just immediately at the Shishane subway station, 10 minutes walk to the city Tramway, 5 minutes walk to the iconic Galata Tower and 5 minutes walk to the city's most vibrant street - Istiklal Caddesi. Going to the Sultan Ahmet (Blue) Mosque and Aya (Hagia) Sofya was so easy - only 4 stations by the city Tram.

Room Tip: Grand Delux rooms is bigger and spacious.

Stayed for 3 nights. The hotel has recently been renovated to a high standard. The location is excellent for exploring Istanbul and there are a number of excellent restaurants and café nearby (Try Nan about 100 yards from the hotel. Really nice small plates). The staff were courteous and helpful. The only small issue was that the roof terrace wasn't open and the lobby area didn't have any outside space.
