very well situated, as other reviewers have noted. Near a metro station and within walking distance of Taksim Square and the Galata Bridge. We had a room at the back, so did not have the view, but it was totally quiet - not the slightest sound despite the busy main road at the front and an adjacent building site. The only downside is the pavement outside. It is narrow and barely exists at all in a couple of places, which makes the few yards until you can turn down a back street all too interesting.

For a better view than is available from the Radisson, go the top floor open terrace of the neighbouring Marmara Pera Hotel, which is open from 6pm.

Dear Guest,

Greetings from Pera and thank you very much for taking time to share your experience at Tripadvisor for other travelers.

Our lovely hotel is so convenient for both business or leisure visitors that many touristic attractions are easily accessible from where we are even by walking.

Also we will open our roof-top traditional Turkish restaurant Hamdi which will offer great foods (kebaps) with a magnificent view overlooking the Golden Horn. Hope you will enjoy it too.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you back soon to Radisson Blu Istanbul, Pera,

Kind Regards,

Okan Karadag

Fantastic location. Dont be tempted by hotels nearer the airport that are cheaper as everything you want to see is only a walk away. Great hotel, really friendly and helpful staff. Go the extra mile and book a superior room which guarantees you a view of the horn and the Bosphorus. Istanbul is a mad place with great transport infrastructure. 25 euros gets you a private taxi from the airport to the hotel and is bookable online.

My husband and I are wrapping up a week-long stay at the Radisson Blu Pera. It is a great option for tourists and business travels. It is located within easy access to the sights in both Pera and Stanboul. The rooms are of good proportions, nicely furnished, and have all the appropriate amenities. The Business Class room where we stayed is well worth the upgrade for the fabulous views across the Golden Horn. The hotel offer a fantastic breakfast appealing to both international and local tastes. But, most memorable of all is the hotel's wonderful staff. Everyone we have dealt with has been warm, knowledgeable, and has gone out of their way to be helpful. to us. We travel extensively for both business and pleasure, and this hotel will always have a special set of memories for us.

We stayed as a couple over Easter 2014. Staff we're extremely polite and attentive and facilities absolutely fine. Breakfast good and sauna and Turkish Bath much appreciated after long days of walking. Very easy walk to all restaurants in Beyoglu and up to Taksim. Business Class rooms had nive view over Golden Horn but were a touch small.

We stayed here for four nights on our first ( but not last) city weekend trip to Istanbul and were given a warm welcome. The hotel is only one year old and the interior is very beautiful Art Deco style with much marble and discreet lighting. The rooms are light and spacious, the bathrooms all in marble, the beds very broad and comfortable. The breakfast is a joy to the eye and includes just about everything anyone could wish for, all very fresh. The staff is very helpful and service minded, giving us lots of good ideas what to see and where to eat and showing genuine interest in us. The position of the hotel is on a hill with an extensive view of the city, near Istikal avenue for good shopping and in between the Galata tower and Taksim square. The spa area is a dream and the Balinese massage therapists competent and pleasant. We will definitely come again. Thank you!
