The accommodation was great and the staff were very helpful and cheerful. Baver and Mecrun were the main two staff members we had contact with and they could not do enough to help us. Nothing was too much trouble . There is a nice sauna and spa room which we did not have time to use but it looked very comfortable and the massage rates were also good. Breakfast was nice and the balcony was a nice spot to sit and look out over the streets of Istanbul whilst having breakfast. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great and the bathroom was a good size compared to some of our other accommodation. The hotel is central to all the main tourist attractions in Istanbul so it was easy to walk everywhere. We loved the shopping and atmosphere in Istanbul and would love to go back.

My wife and I stayed in a room with a Mosqus view. The noise wasn't as bad as some indicated, or I feared. The windows are quite good. They are solid and the centre one can be opened to access the mini balcony and get fresh air. They keep the sound out and with ear plugs I didn't hear anything. I have no complaints and would recommend this place as one of the best hotels I've stay at in the past few years. I stay mainly at Bestwesterns, Days Inns, Quality Inns, so I'm happy as long as the room is clean and functional. This was beyond that.

Room Tip: Book in advance off their website. The inner rooms are probably the quietest, though my street side...

My wife and I stayed here 21 nights altogether as we came for our honeymoon. We really enjoyed pretty much everything about this hotel. The staff were really nice and pleasant and very helpful at all times. The rooms were impeccably clean and the housecleaning staff were also very understanding and kind. We didn't have any problems or delays if we needed anything brought to our room.

The location is good because it's only a few minutes walk from the tram, and about 20 minutes walk to the main tourist area Sultanahmet. Taxis are really easy to catch just outside the hotel as well.

The room was nice and well kitted-out: the lighting and beds were perfect, the bathrooms clean and tidy, the TV was large, we weren't disturbed in our room from outside noises or neighbours.

Overall the standard of the hotel is quite high, with a beautiful reception area downstairs and a cool interior to take refuge from the heat. The only complaint we had was we couldn't order pizza to our room! But other than that, everything else was fantastic. We'd definitely recommend this place to others and would come back here if we visit Istanbul again!

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in August. We found the hotel to be very well-located (approx 10 min walk from all the key sights in the Old City), extremely clean with a very helpful staff. The concierge was extremely patient in explaining all the sight seeing options and connecting us to tourist operators. We also had their bfast the first morning which at 10 Euros offers a great spread, largely western though with few traditional Turkish dishes.

We stayed at Barcelo Saray for tour nights during our stay in Istanbul. The hotel is conveniently located near all the major attractions so pretty much everything is within walking distance and if you're not up for a walk the tram is right across the street. The hotel staff on the other hand were a little questionable in a sense that they weren't the most helpful people. The lighting in the room we had which was one without a view was dim but aside from that it was a fair accommodation overall.

Lovely upscale hotel. Absolutely great view of the city from the rooftop restaurant. Many of the great Istanbul sites within walking distance. For the cost expected more attention to details like bathrobe and slippers. ATM conveniently located near the hotel entrance.
