The hotel is in the Asia side and very clean and comfortable with big rooms and clean facilities. The problem with this hotel was the constant noise from the disco on the top floor and then for two nights a wedding at the pool side that blasted music non stop till 2 am. There was no personal attention paid to you as a guest at all. The only friendly face i saw there was the bellboy called CAN (pronounced Jan) who was talkative, polite and friendly. Apart from the mentioned issues, the hotel is safe, clean and a 10 minute drive to Bagdad street where there are alot of restaurants and shopping.

Room Tip: lower floor to avoid the disco noise from the top floor.

It's a wonderful hotel with wide and spacy rooms, beautiful lobby and wonderful breakfast. But if you want to see the touristic part of the city - Sultanahmed and so on, it's too far away and hard to reach.
If you are in Istanbul for business and this business is in the Asian park - go and chose it!

This hotel is on the Asian side of Istanbul, so if you are visiting as a tourist you are in the wrong part of town. Take a look at a map!

The hotel itself is very nice and clean with good facilities. I didn't spend much time at the hotel apart from to sleep and do some work. There was free wi-fi in the room but that got very slow in the evening, presumably when lots of people were using it.

The location is not very attractive but it is certainly not an "industrial estate". There are lots of good resturants close by, many within walking distance. Bagdad street which has lots of shopping and bars/resturants is only about ten minutes away by taxi.

I paid about £250 for three nights including breakfast would happily stay here again.

Room Tip: Try an get a room on lower floor as only two really slow lifts. Note: I stayed on floor 3 which is a...

Convenient for business in the immediate area due to the ever increasing traffic problems that Istanbul suffers. Once a very nice property, it now shows quite a bit of 'use'. Staff are polite and very professional. Rooms are clean but sparse and run down. It is not uncommon to have to wait 7 - 10 minutes for one the only two elevators that service the entire building. Not so much of a problem going down, but for climbing to the 14th floor or so, be prepared to wait! The advertised bar and restaurant on the top floor are no longer in service. There is a buffet restaurant on the ground floor but it seems to be always reserved for companies paying for workers servicing local businesses, leaving a small garden restaurant where the food is mediocre at best. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and well prepared. The gym and Turkish Hammam offered is a very nice plus, although roughly half of the machines were not operating properly.

Room Tip: Stay on a lower floor so as not to have to wait for the elevators.

I have been here a couple of times: overall acceptable although quite expensive if compared to other Istanbul hotels with the same or higher quality standards.
I found the rooms to be clean, although the furniture was quite old; the same for common areas.
Friendly staff at reception even if quite slow.
Allegedly there were two restaurants, only the one on the ground floor was working; on the second night it was fully booked for a private function and we were invited to seat in the bar and have dinner there (in the dark). Food quality was acceptable but once again quite expensive.
On the last day we had breakfast at 7.00: the room was open but the buffet was not fully prepared yet (breakfast was supposed to start at 6.30)

My first visit to Istanbul- a wonderful city but with only two bridges the traffic is a nightmare. You have to be patient because getting anywehre takes a long time!

Room Tip: All rooms that i know of are great- Pool and gym are just below 1st floor

Stayed here for 5 nights while running a training course in the hotels conference centre. With the ratings on here and the fact we couldn't get availability anywhere else we were a little worried when had to settle for the Green Park. As other reviewers have stated its clearly not 5 stars but could pass for 4. I have to start by complimenting the staff, the reception staff, the conference staff and all the waiting staff were pleasant and very efficient. The pool area is nice, as is the gym- but not when it got full as the ventilation is a bit poor. The breakfast in the restaurant was very average but the lunches were all great- and we ate here for 4 days.

The only real issue was the aircon, or lack of it. Apparently people were complaing the hotel was cold so the hotel turned up the heating... which was tough to take particlualry over night.
I wouldn't say it is in an 'industrial area' as someone has written on here, there a couple of restaurants close by. But only 10 mins in taxi, you can reach Bagdhat Street which has every type of cuisine you could want along with great bars/coffee shops. I would really reccomend 'Saloon' (booked by the hotel for us), a very relaxed bar/restaurant with cosy modern decor. I was at dinner with 7 people and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and the dinner in general.

If you are visiting Istanbul for all the sites then stay on the European side but if you want get to see a bit more of what istanbul has to offer or are doing business on the Aisa side you could do worse than the Green Park. This isn't the Marriot (which is really close) but you are not (or shouldn't be) paying Marriott prices.
