Ideally located in the old town, it served perfectly our purpose. Great location close to everything, very friendly and helpful staff and a super cute cat living in.
The room had everything we needed, plenty of storage space and very comfy beds. The only downside is that the walls are rather thin, especially in the bathroom, and you can hear people next door.
Breakfast was alright, nothing over the top. They could do with a bit more variety though (e.g. different types of fruit, yogurt...) and a toaster. Coffee was better than some I have tried in four star hotels. But the best thing is that it is served in a terrace with a view of Hagia Sophia and it's lovely in sunny days.
Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Zeynep Sultan Hotel in Instanbul is a great place to stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and are committed to making your stay in their great city easy and pleasant.
Great European breakfast on a beautiful patio overlooking an old mosque.
English is spoken which is a great help to us monolingual Americans.

Great location to all attractions and historic sites.

I will return.

Room Tip: Top Floor on the back side overlooking the breakfast area patio.

I have come here on and off for the past couple years. It's always been competitively priced, clean, and needless to say it's in a great location. The staff is friendly and the free breakfast is great.

The rooms are a bit small, but for travelers who plan to spend most of their time out and about that shouldn't be an issue. Bottom line we're talking about an affordable room in the center of the Sultanahmet area with easy access to the sights and transportation to the rest of the city.

The hotel has an awesome location near Hagia Sofia, the Basilica Sitern, SultanAhmet mosque and on walking distance to the Grand Bazaar, spice bazaar and Eminönü (Where all the buses are, the closest Tram station is Gulhane, only minutes away from the Hotel).
The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is pretty clean. Most would say the breakfast is modest but I'm not one to complain.

We stayed in February, 2014. The staff was very friendly and all were fluent in English and very helpful. The rooms were tiny, but you are (just barely!) in Europe, so this is what you should expect! Excellent location. If we return to Istanbul, we would not even bother looking elsewhere. Bonus - the shop down the street selling ceramics and rugs offered great deals and were genuinely friendly.

Very conveniently placed in the Sultanahmet area, very close to the Basilica Cistern and most downtown attractions.
Extremely helpful staff,
Rooms are small, but furnished in good taste.
Breakfast average - but plentiful + a great view of Hagia Sophia from their terrace

Room Tip: Heating system is rather noisy - so it's best you warm the room up before going to bed.

This B&B I would recommend to everyone. You can't get a more convenient location than this. No more than a 10 min walking distance to any of the attractions - aya sofiya, blue mosque, topkapi castle, the ferry port and grand bazaar, gulhane park, etc.

The hotel is in between sultan ahmet station and gulhane station. The metro station is literally 2 mins walk both ways.

The hotel is surrounded by food shops. kebab, Shish taowk, pizza, mcdonalds and Burger King all Within a 5-10 min walk so we had no food problems.

The hotel staff were friendly and very very helpful. They all speak excellent English and guided us to the best tours, shops, food etc.

The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were available at all times to answer any queries.

Price wise, it was very economical.

Overall me and my family had a great experience staying at zeynep hotel and we would recommend it for everyone. Not one complaint.

The cradle of civilization...Turkey...From Hitites to Urartus, Phrygians to Lycians, from Romans to Seljuks...They all lived here. A city that gave birth to and fostered three glorious empires...The East Roman empire, the Byzantine empire and the Ottoman empire...Once the capital city of these empires, Istanbul is still alive and breathing a mystical blend of air, weary of the contemprary urbanization and cultural clashes. Zeynep Sultan Hotel is where you will blend a magical potion from a Roman hippodrome, an Egyptian obelisque, a Byzantine Church and an Ottoman Grand Bazaar.
