Stayed here for 4 nights. Great location near tram stops and a lot of good restuarants. We had a room with balcony worth the extra money.breakfast had a good choice served from 7 till 10.Not a lot of storage in the room and the pillows were so uncomfortable.

It is a nice hotel with very basic facilities. The staff is very helpful. There is wi-fi facility in the rooms. It is at a very convenient location to the historical places, tram stations, plenty of restaurants and shopping areas. One suggestion is that there should be someone available at the kitchen or a microwave available to warm up food that guests can bring from outside especially during the cold winters.

I was in Istanbul and the location of the Hotel is perfect, 200 meter to Marmaray Station, 100 from "Gulhane" Tran Way Stop ( Airport to Gulhane cost me 6 liras), Blue Mosque and Ayasofia just 500 meters, behind the Super Market DIA.
10 minutes from Kabatas for travel to Princess Island, each ferry per person 5 liras by ferry.
The New Station Marmaray 6 liras per person travel
The buffet is normal but enough for start your day, average like Hotel from Barcelona or Rome. Clean rooms and friendly staff.
Perfect for know the city, without expend too much money and for return to the airport just I paid 15 liras shuffle Bus. Currency Exchange 1 pound = 3.6 Turkish Liras. Mac Donald 11 Liras, Kebab plus Coke 14 Liras
Travel by Underground or Tram Way is 3 liras each travel you must pay.

Only drawback was lack of kettle.
Others have complained about the shower, however, I quite enjoyed the climb in and out. Perhaps not for the old or short travellers!

Happy to accommodate a last minute change from twin to double room and staff were friendly at all times.

A nice hotel in the vicinity of the city's monuments like haga sophia tapkapi palace and the blue mosque

The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and tidy. It is in a back street which makes it quiet at night.

All I need is a clean room, hot shower, TV and a place I can sleep in peace. This hotel had all those requirements plus it was close to all the tourist attractions in Istanbul. The staff were also friendly, helpful and able to have a laugh.

Room Tip: Stayed in two different rooms and both were the same.

Due to the tram system and various one way streets it is a bit difficult for the taxis to find, but one there it is good.(the bonus of being on a back street means it is remarkable quiet at night). Check in was simple and we were shown to the room and shown how the TV works 200 channels but only 2 we could find in English (Al Jazeera and BBC news). The room had everything one could want although my wife commented that the pillows and duvet were a bit tired. It had an excellent shower.
The bonus is the proximity to the Sultanahmet complex - Topkapi, the Blue Mosque and the Roman cistern all of which are a short uphill walk. The tram is a bonus costing 3TL to Dolmabahce one way and the Grand Bazaar past the sultanahmet complex in the other direction.
There is no bar at the hotel but lots of options within close walking distance. For lovers of Red wine the Red river offer wine at 40 TL and a plate of Turkish cheese for 10TL, which was really good. ,
