“Interesting iron church”
Reviewed 5 July 2012

The story of it is interesting and also the grey building itself looks impressive. You can see it even from long distance and location is so good. Nice to walk around the church and then by Golden Horn.

“Under reconstruction”
Reviewed 6 May 2012

The church was under reconstruction at the beginning of May, so you might be disappointed if you are going there soon. Still, a must-see for all Bulgarian visitors to Istanbul.

“Totally Iron Church”
Reviewed 6 February 2012

İt is one of the rarest buildings taht u can see totally made of iron, and it is the only Bulgarian church of Turkey. The icons inside are very good. The chuch is more close to an Russian Orthodox chuch rtaher than Greek Ordotox in terms of depictions of the icons.

“interesting to see a church made of iron”
Reviewed 6 January 2012

Amazing to know the story of the church- that it's been built in Austira from steel and constructed over night in İstanbul!

“Cast iron elegance”
Reviewed 22 December 2011

I was amased how this slabs of cast iron hoisted together make such an elegant building. Unique building technique best seen at the shore of Golden Horn.
