Owner description: Minaturk is just what it sounds like: a mini version of treasures found in Turkey. The park contains 105 models done in 1/25th scale, about half of them from Istanbul and the rest from Anatolia and the Ottoman territories outside of Turkey.

Captures and exhibits all the key monuments in Turkey. The audio cards very useful. The souvenier shop is suprisingly reasonable and has a great collection. A must visit place

Miniaturk exhibits all of Turkey's attractions n landmarks. With a self guided audio tour in various languages, one is given the background n origins of each exhibit, therefore once u visit the real place, u will appreciate it even more...

I felt a bit bored after 15 mins as I already knew most of Turkey's attractions - guess this is one for the kids!

It is truly fun to go around like giant beings posing in front of small intricate models of historical places; the only thing they should insert is an ON/OFF button for the audio guide on each model because when they are all turned on, it is loudy and deafening indeed. There is a place you can wear Turkish costumes and take photographs; also a small museum with models of old Turkish life with villages and battlefields and the like... All in all, its great fun and much informative.

If you are planning one day along Golden Horn, it is the place to visit for families with children...The natural and cultural attractions of Turkey are symbolized at the park, not too big to get tiired...It can be combined with the closeby Rahmi Koç Museum...
