This museum has beautiful collection of classic cars, trams, trains. It has a ferryboat, a plane and a submarine. Also, there are some very interesting collections of toys from all times and baby trolleys.

This is simply an amazing find. We have been to Istanbul six times and we thought we had seen and experienced everything. Well, we were wrong. We went to this museum on the strength of TripAdvisor traveler recommendations. We allowed an hour for this attraction. Four hours into it, our legs gave out and we quit even though there was still much to see.

This is probably one of the finest attractions we have ever seen anywhere on anything, a huge collection of perfectly restored old and antique cars, a huge boat and navigational artifacts, a remarkable collection of street cars starting with horse drawn trams, old train cars, the original steam powered cable car up to Galata hill from 1875, an excellent aviation collection, etc. You get the idea, if it moves they have it. All the exhibits are well described and documented in both English an Turkish. Must see to believe how well done this is.

For a break you can stop for drinks and snacks at the adjacent Halat cafe/restaurant. A beautiful and elegant setting. We are coming back for dinner at this most incredible spot right on the Bosphorus with the historic Istanbul in the background. Best to take a taxi. Not easily accessible on foot without serious knowledge of public transportation.

Private museum. Had cars, trains, planes, boats...thinking it was just for the boys,,,I was readily dismissing. But boy oh boy, was I surprised!!! I lOVED it! Such an amazing repository of moving vehicles and a small section dedicated to Ataturk and a nicely tucked away Maths museum for children (the bubble machine was a real hit with my girl!). They had my Ford Mustang and the Thunderbird there and I fell in love!! Oh my, my dream cars!! Do not miss this place! Well worth the visit.

We didn't know much about Rahmi Koc museum but went there on a whim along with our visit to Miniaturk. Koc museum is fantastic! The best collection of classic cars I've ever seen in the world, along with fascinating displays of engines and other industrial equipment, plus airplanes. We paid the extra charge for the submarine tour, which was very worth it. Excellent!

This museum is a true gem, we travel there by boat up the golden horn to Haskoy pier, the collection of cars, planes, trains, boats, bikes etc... is vast and all in unbelievably good condition. There is plenty for children to interact with and heaps to keep them and adults interested and stimulated! There is also a fantastic restaurant right out by the water with great food and wine.
