We only had a short trip on our way back from a beach holiday so found this perfectly central to get all the sights in in 2 days.

The room is spacious and well decorated. The bathroom also had a large shower which was great :)

The breakfast had a bit of everything. The only downpoint was they start clearing it away well before they finish at 10.30 so make sure you get up there by 10!

The staff were helpful in telling us where to go on each day and giving us ideas.
They suggested the best restaurants were down to the right as you leave the hotel - that we can either eat by the pier or where the locals go - we advise to go where the locals go! By the water is very very expensive - the most expensive meal we've ever had and not particularly special.

Coming from the airport we took the train and the lrt - was no problem at all. 3TL per ride so 6TL each to get to the hotel and roll our bags down the hill from the LRT stop. The taxi ride on the way back to the airport was reasonable enough - i dont think you would need the private bus they try to offer you unless you have a big group.

I booked this hotel as a surprise for my Husbands 65th Birthday.
We were greeted by a lovely smiling Receptionist called Gonul and then introduced to Serhat the guest relations manager who spent time explaining the area and marking out nearby attractions on a map for us.
My husband was then presented with a delicious chocolate birthday cake that had been made specially for him.
The bedroom was classed as one of the basic rooms but was really comfortable, clean and had a beautiful ornate light above the bed. It also had tea and coffee making facilities which is a bonus after a long day sight seeing.
We ate a lovely dinner in the roof top restaurant on our 1st evening, the meal was reasonably priced and very well presented by friendly, well trained waiters.
Breakfast was really good, a nice choice of dishes but you must try the turkish bagels.
The area around the hotel is typical of a busy city/urban area (very safe though) but when you walk into the hotel its like being in a palace.
Excellent location for all the sights and local eateries.
Our only complaint would be we didnt stay long enough.
Well done everyone at the Ottoman Hotel Park, hope to return again and for longer.

From the moment we arrived the staff was very helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was good. On the terrace you get a nice view of the sea and the top of the neighboring buildings. I was perplexed by the one next door with the collapsed roof, but apparent business in the lower level (don't worry, the old city is full of older buildings). The location is as good as you're going to get if you stay in the old city. Expect the call to prayer to be loud regardless of where you stay. For those that complained about walking up hill to get to things - would you rather walk up hill at the end of the day? There was a litter of kittens that greeted us every day when we left and returned!

The hotel is in a great and convenient location. The staff is wonderful! Rooms are clean and modern, my only complaint would be the beds being a little hard. Other than that, look no more, you found really nice accommodations.

Fantastic time, the staff could not be more helpful. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the restaurant on the terrace has a wonderful views. Located in the good part of the old town for sightseeing as well as close to an area called Kumkapi which has many good sea food restaurants. All attractions are about a 10 minute walk, like Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. Overall good experience.

Based on the reviews we read on Trip Advisor, we booked the Ottoman Park for four nights. We were very pleased with the hotel, it's cleanliness, the great buffet breakfast and the helpfulness, professionalism and friendliness of all the staff. Serhat Mete, Guest Relations coordinator went the extra mile to make sure that my wife and I had a wonderful experience while we were guests at the hotel -- even arranging for a special birthday celebration for a special birthday!

Very helpful staff, excellent breakfast, room smallish but very tidy, convenient old town location. All staff recommendations for tours were spot on. Prices were very reasonable. If wanting to stay in quiet part of old Sultanahmat district this is highly recommended.
