Very pretty room, decorated with taste in a traditional spirit but with modern amenities. Small but functional bathroom, delicious breakfast and a beautiful rose garden and a patio in the shade under the chestnut tree. Coffee, cookies and water are available throughout the day and there is a wine tasting every afternoon at 6pm. Feels like a family's home, everyone is extremely helpful and hospitable. Special thanks to Selcuk the relations manager and Bora at reception. Very well located, a few minutes walk from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia, close to the tram that cuts across the Golden horn and close to the bazaar and the spice market. At the same time it stays away from the very busy road and it remains a very relaxing getaway. Warmly recommended and I certainly look forward to going back there!

Room Tip: If you have the choice, go for a Turkish bath room, to add to the originality.

This is a charming and very centrally located hotel, 5 minute walking from the Hippodrome and the Blue Mosque, very customer oriented, ideal for a short visit to Istambul and very good value for money

Room Tip: Rooms at the bottom have little natural light, though they have a nice patio in front and we got a v...

Staff was very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was also very good.
In friday night, wine reseption was held at garden terrace,we enjoyed drinking some wines and foods.
If I go to Istanbul next time, I want to stay this hotel again.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel in July.It was our first time to Istanbul.
The staff very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are clean, bed comfy and breakfast was amazing.
Position was central to all sightseeing, the waterfront and tram stop, everything is only a 5 minute walk.
Would highly recommend this hotel.Great value for money.

Room Tip: Our room was above reception on the 2nd floor.Facing the street. Never heard any noise. So, I would...

From the moment me and my friends arrived here on the 8th July 2012, we felt comfortable, included and very welcome. Staff were excellent.

Price is very reasonable. Rooms were well cleaned.

Wifi is available, although not in rooms. You must sit in the back courtyard (which was very comfortable with free tea, coffee and water available all day, all night).

Location was great to see sights. The Blue Mosque is about a 5minute walk. Tram line is about 12minute walk (this will take you to a lot of different sites. Its quick and cheap) as are a host of restaurants and other amenities.

Go to Mado for dessert!

And don't go to local places for food as you will be ripped off price wise as well as quantity wise! Instead, ask the locals where they eat out and go with that. It's a much safer bet :)

Room Tip: There aren't lifts so try and get a room low to the ground unless you love walking!
