I had a great time at this hostel. The folks are very nice, and do everything they can to make you comfortable.
Bathrooms are clean and beds are sturdy and comfy. Extra blankets if you ask.
The view from the rooftop is just gorgeous with the Hagia Sophia and the Bosphorus in plain view. A great place to enjoy the complimentary breakfast!
Close to practically everything, including; Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar, Column of Constantine, Walls of Rome, Spice Bazaar (go there!) Mosaic Museum, Bath of Justinian and transportation. For those who care, a Starbucks is just up the street. Great restaurants all around this hostel.
Stayed in many Hostels in Europe and North America. I highly recommend this one.

This is a very clean hostel with an amazing terrace cafe overlooking the Bosphorus. You will find guests from different countries staying at the hostel. The staff is very cooperative and the stay is quite affordable.

We arrived to the hostel from an 11 hour flight, from the moment we walked in the staff were so friendly and helpful. They told us 'go get you shower and we will have a drink waiting for you when you get back up' when we arrived back to the reception there was three local beers waiting for us.
Dan - booked our entire Turkey adventure. We were planning on booking as we go but he hooked everything up for us from our blue cruise from Fethiye to our hot air ballooning in Cappadocia. Everything was booked correctly and we had no hassles while in Turkey.

The hostel itself was clean and had what we needed for a budget hostel.
Will definitely be recommending this hostel to our family and friends!

I stayed in this hostel for 3 nights. The main reason for my stay was to meet up with friends and do some sight-seeing in Istanbul. We stayed in a 9-person dorm room. The room was simple; the safes inside were very handy, just be sure to bring your own padlock. Overall, it was great value for money.

The location is fantastic. It's really close to some of the main tourist attractions (only minutes from the Blue Mosque, and a short walk (15/20mins) from the Grand Bazaar. There is a lovely cafe/bar nextdoor to the hostel, and there's a great choice of bars and restaurants on a parallel street.

The staff in the hostel were very friendly, and helped us to arrange taxis/shuttle buses to our next destination. I would definitely stay here again if I was to go back to Istanbul.

Room Tip: Just make sure to bring a padlock if you want to use the lockers!

A functional and adequate breakfast with polite staff I have to admit I liked staying here even though the basement downstairs was quite cold and dark. The staff are helpful althought there's no common lounge area, the large dorm. area downstairs is able to provide a decent enough place for people to meet.

No visa cards accepted though - which I found slightly primitive. No laundry facilities. Decent enought wireless though.

Room Tip: I only experienced the dorm which was large, open, slightly dark but probably quite cool in the hot...

You can't do better for a location in Istanbul. Literally in shouting distance of both of the Hagia Sophia and the Blue mosque...nice terrace bar and an adequate but simple breakfast. Pretty good price too...staff was very nice.
