We were easily able to reach all of our destinations from the hotel. The breakfast was varied and late (open until 11!!!). Service was really wonderful, we were greeted by a hot cup of apple tea while as soon as we checked in. Our room got turn down service regardless of what time we left the hotel. The beds are so comfortable we found ourselves oversleeping a few times. The room itself was very cool and very Turkish in its decor. There is no dinner restaurant on location, but the takeout menu that is offered from the place down the road was fabulous and you can enjoy it on the gorgeous rooftop terrace. The single complaint we had was the Wifi was just very slow. We are a bit on the snobby side when it comes to internet though, as we were on a working vacation, and were using it for several hours a day - I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for the typical guest. There is also a computer offered in the lobby.

Overall I'd highly recommend and would love to come back!

Stayed at the Hotel Niles for 3 night in February 2014. Hotel is perfectly located for the sights, 5 minutes from the Grand Bazaar and 10-15 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque. There's a tram stop (3TL) at the end of the street too.

Lovely welcome at the hotel when we arrived and the staff provided great information on the local area. The hotel was very reasonably priced and this reflected our room which was quite small. It was clean and had good facilities however the bathroom could do with updating. If I visited again I would definitely upgrade to a bigger room.

Breakfast was good and served from 8-11. Istanbul was wonderful and I would recommend a visit.

Hotel Niles offers an exceptional service in a delightful atmosphere. All staff members without exception go out of their way to accommodate guests. They are very well trained and all act as concierges as well. The breakfast is an actual brunch with a variety of Turkish specialties and continental fare. They also offer a tea hour in the afternoon with complementary tea, coffee and pastries from a Cookie bar. The room service is excellent as well. Not only this boutique hotel is located close to a great number of tourist attractions and shopping, but also offers unparalleled experience as a whole. It gave us the best of Turkish hospitality with many small surprises such as a box of candy for Valentine's Day and a royal farewell. Great value for the money. Would go back on a heartbeat!

Room Tip: Some room have a traditional Turkish bath

My wife and I spent 2 nights at Istanbul. This was not our first in the city, but first in this hotel. We were so overwhelmed by the hospitality of the people working at this property from the very first second we stepped in. Would strongly recommend it to anyone. Great location, too. Room is nice (we stayed I a junior suite with Turkish bath). Breakfast was good. Overall, we enjoyed it so much, and would definitely come back. PS. The internet is free and very fast in the rooms.

Stayed here in Feb 2014. Staff was very friendly and informative. Good breakfast buffet. Excellent location for shopping and sightseeing - close to Grand Bazaar and SultanAhmet area. Public transportation within 100 yards of the hotel. Not the Hilton, but not that expensive either.

The Hotel Nilesl is located off the main street and very quiet. One block to Ordu Caddesi and the tramway. We were awakened each day with the Call to Prayer. Wonderful sound. This area is in the wholesale shopping district. About a 20 minute walk to the Blue Mosque once we had our route down packed. We walked to the Spice Bazaar, Grand Bazaar and visited Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern and much more from our location. Breakfast was provided on the rooftop of the Hotel. An open area for those who wanted fresh air and an enclosed area for those who wanted to be toasty warm. A nice view too. A wonderful breakfast. Variety, freshness, tasty and hot foods were hot. Cold foods were cold. Authentic food items were out of this world. On our day of departure we were leaving very early and were provided coffee in our room as well as a lunch to eat on the way. Outstanding. The rooms were comfortable, roomy as we were 3. 1 Double bed and 1 single. The single was very comfortable. Clean. TV worked well. Internet, Wi-fi was great. We had a junior suite with a Turkish Bath and shower. Big enough for all 3 to get organized with good timing. We had a kettle and coffee, sugar, tea and dry milk was provided. Cups, spoons etc. Fridge as well. Very convenient. The reception personnel were great at providing information, direction and letting us know where we could find lunch and dinner. You could order food at the roof top but it came from the Restaurant next door. This was ok and provided me with a small snack when back at the Hotel after a long day of sightseeing. You could have drinks on the roof top as well. Very handy. I have ticked the box below for Restaurant, however it was not really a restaurant per say. I have given a 4 for the location as I would stay closer to the Blue Mosque area on my next visit.

Room Tip: We were on the 3rd or 4th floor. There was a lift. The stairs were easy climbing. Close to walk t...

This is a super boutique hotel well-located in one of the world's great cities. Easy walking distace to the Grand Bazaar and tram or walking to all the main sites. Great place from which to explore more off the beaten path venues. You can easily find excellent, reasonable restaurants in the neighborhood. Roof-top breakfast a beautiful way to start your day. Our third time staying here and we definitely would on our next visit.

Room Tip: Stay as high up as you can.
