Stayed two nights prior to an Oceania Cruise. Upon arrival (after being dropped off from the airport at the end of the street as the street the hotel is on is traffic free after 10 am) we received the friendliest of welcomes from the staff plus a refreshing cup of Turkish Tea and Turkish delight. The hotel is well located. A few minutes walk up the hill to the trams and Grand Bazaar. and down the hill to the old town shops and restaurants. Although obviously a fairly old hotel, the bedrooms are really modern, spotlessly clean and with all the usual facilities one needs e.g tea/coffee maker, tv, toiletries etc.Breakfast is served on the rooftop which if you wish to sit outside is lovely particularly as we had fantastic weather whilst we were there. The breakfast is mainly a cold, continental style breakfast but there is plenty of choice and more than sufficient.
We had an enjoyable stay in Istanbul and it was a pleasure to stay in the Hotel Niles. A gem of a hotel with the friendliest and most helpful staff you will come across!
