Good location and service.

Breakfast: Not well cooled and heated food, prone to bacteria contamination. One example was room tempered milk and eggs at ten o'clock (since seven). One possible improvement would be non-sweet cereals, juices instead of sugar fruit drinks, and more whole grain bread.

Rooms: Romantic and with ok space (by Istanbul standards). Some small details disrupted the experience: The air conditioner went off every 20 minutes during the night (and couldn't be fixed), and the window couldn't be closed. We got a new room, though (with a noisy air conditioner instead)

Service was good.

At present, Google maps has two locations for this hotel, one 300 m wrong. The correct one is near "Romantic hotel".

We recommend the restaurant Pasazade 43 m away :-)

As first time visitors to Istanbul, especially during what was inflamed as a most turbulent time, we were met with gracious and genuine hospitality when arriving at Adora.
Ideally located near the tram line and close to all the major sites in that area of Istanbul it is a great base. Restaurants and bars are plentiful, with very little need to do anything but walk, we'll marked directions and locals more than happy to offer directions or just to chat.
The room offered a good bed, air-con, an in room safe and ensuite with good water pressure and ample hot water, albeit compact in size.
There are only 15 rooms, all full when we stayed, with a very cosmopolitan clientele who al cross paths at breakfast. Burhan, works the desk in the day providing great local information and advice. The other staff are just so friendly and honestly wanted us to enjoy our stay but also to make sure we took away a great impression of Turkey, which they succeeded in doing.
Abdullah, working nights, was invaluable to my understanding of all things Turkish, showing great patience explaining the recent troubles and the importance of Country, religion and family in Turkish daily lives with balance and humor.
An exceptional introduction to an exceptional city.

Room Tip: Upper floors, 4th floor and above overlooking the side street preferred.

My girlfriend and I stayed in the hotel Adora for five nights and found it great. It is ideally located if staying in the old part of the city. The hotel manager is very friendly and was always on hand to give information on istanbul. The room was a little small but contained a large comfortable bed; the room was always spotless clean by the time we returned from a hard days sight seeing.
Thanks for a great stay Hotel Adora!

Good location for tourist visit to Istanbul. It's close to all the main sights, with a variety of cafes, restaurants, local shops and other hotels nearby. The hotel itself is small and unspectacular, although it's clean, has the usual amenities and the staff are polite. The rooms are tiny but the breakfast is reasonable. However Istanbul is a city with lots to see and experience, so if you're looking for somewhere to sleep and shower then the Adora is perfectly adequate and reasonable value for money so would recommend on that basis. But there are a lot of nicer hotels in the area, albeit that they might be a bit more expensive.

I've stayed at this hotel for 7 nights with my girlfriend and another friend and from start to finish there wasn't anything I can complain about.
First of all the location is perfect, 5-10 minutes walking from most attractions in the Old City. Although it is situated quite close to a very busy street we didn't hear anything during the night due to the sound proof windows.
We had a breakfast buffet every morning with loads of food for both vegetarians and meat eaters including some Turkish specialties such as sesame bagels, halva, Turkish pastries, Turkish tea and coffee. Everything was very tasty and diversified so you wouldn't get bored easily.
Also, every time when we were coming back from our daily trips we were offered Turkish tea and coffee for free by the hotel's staff. I would particularly like to thank you Abdullah (one of the receptionists) for taking care of us, for introducing us to the Turkish culture and for helping us promptly whenever we needed.
The hotel has provided very good quality for money and it is definitely the place to stay if you want to visit Istanbul.

Room Tip: We stayed in two rooms and I can't complain about anything so I believe any room would be good.

Stayed at the Adora for four days. I don't have anything negative to say about the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful. I would especially like to thank Abdullah who not only helped me with getting oriented to Istanbul but also went out of his way to help me get to the airport using the tram! The room was small but clean and everything worked properly. Breakfast was amazing. A much bigger spread than I thought there would be. Lastly but not least the location is about five mins walk from the major attractions in the old district. Also right near the tram line. I would definitely stay here again! Istanbul was awesome.
