“The best hotel in Istanbul”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2014

The location cannot be better, walking distance from all the top sights.
the rooms are good and so clean, the staff are wonderful, very helpful and efficient.
We ate there three times in a week as the food and the restaurant are so good. I cannot praise this hotel highly enough.

This hotel is one of the friendliest and most helpful places we have stayed.Mr Burhon was exceptional. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. It is ideal for sightseeing and shopping as it is so central. It is good value for a hotel in a great spot.
The restaurant was also excellent with local foods suggested to us. Well done .

Adora Hotel is in Sultanhamet, 10 minutes walking from the main historic attractions. Is a small hotel with clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. Personnel is always kind and polite. The only bad thing is breakfast: poor choose of food and beverages and not always fresh...

Great location, excellent help (see Mr. Burham) ,safe area, and the buffet breakfast was good.we also enjoyed the dinner here. good area to take an evening stroll and absorb some nightlife. if you plan to be out all day and come back to the hotel just to rest this is for you(not a leisure hotel.

We stayed with our 3 children for 5 nigths in this lovely hotel. We booked 2 rooms, they were located near eachother. It's a small hotel with a restaurant and 3 or 4 rooms per floor.
The children slept in a room with 3 single beds wich was very spacious, even the shower was double size of ours. Our room had one double bed, with little space left for walking.
Shampoo, soap etc were provided. Rooms were cleaned every day and we got fresh towels. Breakfast was good, it wasTurkish style. We had plenty of choice.
At night you can hear the mosques, but that's everywhere in the old town.
We had rooms on the first floor, above the restaurant and they were quite noisy at night because of the people dining in there. So I woud prefer a room on a higher floor next time.
The hotel arranged for us a shuttleservice from and to the airport, which was perfectly on time and very comfortable. By check-in they surprised us with tea ans turkish delight. Customers can have tea and coffee for free during the whole day! They even bring it to the room! Everybody was very kind to us all the time. We recommend this hotel to everybody!

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor because of the noise from the restaurant.

if you don't want to walk too far for the main tourists attractions, you may stay here.
if you need a good night sleep: don't stay here!
if you want to meet very kind and helpful people: you must stay here!
if you request a fully functional bathroom, you rather would prefer a different hotel.
if you like to sleep long, you will suffer from the early call of the local muezzin next door.
if you don't want to spent much money on accomodation: that's your choice!
if you request highly standard of hygiene and need a big room for your two or more suitcases, you shouldn't book a room at Adora.
In any other cases you're more than welcome!

Room Tip: i'd prefer rooms with last digit 3: only noise from the trams every 5 minutes til midnight

Really enjoyed our 5 day stay in the Hotel Adora. The hotel is in a superb location, very near the top sights and also the Ferries for Boat trips. The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was good and we also had lunch and dinner there on two occasions and the food was delicious.
