We selected Sirkeci Mansion based upon its location (which is always my first criteria) and then, its 5-star TA rating. We found the location quite difficult for our taxi driver to find, but once there, the location is wonderful. The rooms are small but adequate and the breakfast is quite nice. However, we did have difficulty with the WiFi on occasion, and an issue with our safe and refrigerator, but the staff was quite helpful in resolving the issues. Not much staff around after morning time... We did enjoy our stay, and would recommend Sirkeci Mansion...but 2,000 5-star ratings is misleading. It’s a four-star in a wonderful location.

We arrived at Sirkeci at 10 in the morning and they invited us to have breakfast whilst they prepared our room. A great start. Room was ready within 40 minutes and it was clean, fresh and perfect. We stayed in a deluxe room with a balcony. The staff here are so attentive to customer service. Everyone has a smile and is ready to help. They offer suggestions for places to eat and go out of their way to make sure your stay is a happy one. The breakfast is good and has enough variety each day. The location is perfect for the tourist travellers that we were. You can walk to everything from Sophia Hagia, Blue mosque, Grand Bazaar and more. The tram is a great way to get about and the Sirkeci loan you an Istanbul kart so you can do this. The hotel also overlooks the park and is peaceful and quiet in the evenings. I would definitely recommend.

We had 2 lovely interconnecting rooms for our family offering comfortable beds each with their own bathroom which included a bath and a shower mounted.Rooms were clean with tea making facilities, bottled water, fridge for drinks, crisp clean linen and towels, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, safe in room, windows opened full, TV wall mounted. Staff are a real credit to this hotel. They make you feel really welcome. Breakfast is good with a self service option to hot and cold food. In walking distance of all attractions and metro underground. Great swimming pool, sauna and Turkish bath downstairs for relaxing. We had some Turkish delights in our room on arrival and even sampled some complimentary Turkish snacks. We will stay here again!

We stayed here twice and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were well appointed and the top floor rooms had amazing views of the gardens out front and skyline across to the bosphorous. Breakfast was delicious especially the spread of local Turkish breads. Location wise was excellant, within 15mins of all main attractions or less.
