Service was cheerful, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. In fact on the day of our departure we were treated like departing family members.
The rooms were comfortable, modern with a feel of Old Istanbul. All facilities including tea & coffee making facilities, airconditioning and free hi-fi.
Extremely well located with the Grand Bazaar, Spice Markets, St Sophie all nearby. Only minutes to the tram, shops, rail and waterways.
The hotel is equipped with a small gym, swimming pool, sauna and Turkish bath for those who like a bit of a workout. Also there are two restuarants with one at street level and a second one located on the rooftop to allow you to watch the sunset and see Istanbul by night. It also has reciprocal dining arrangements with other hotels in its chain.
We had three wonderful weeks in Turkey and stayed at a number of hotels in Turkey including the Conrad and Hilton chains but not one of them was a patch on the Serceki for value, comfort or location. A five star gem !

Stayed here for 2 nights after we realised our previous hotel had booked us only for 2 nights instead of 4, so it was a real last-minute booking, after going through tripadvisor.

The service at this hotel is fantastic! They are always smiling and so happy to help (well, most of them).

Located very close to the sightseeing spots (Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia etc.) in the Sultan Ahmet area, and 2 mins. walk from the tram stop.

The only negative was our ground floor room: it was too small, and facilities were not that great! One evening we got a fright seeing a man pop up outside our window from nowhere.. we later figured he was cleaning the outside open air atrium area, but prior intimation would've been nice.

You probably won't spend too much time in the room anyways, so stay here for their fantastic service and good location!

Definitely on par with any "botique hotel' of any major city. Staff always friendly and helpful. Great buffet breakfast! Hotel is very well maintained and the room was spotlessly clean with great air conditioning! Close to all the major tourist attractions. You will not be disappointed.

Stayed at Sirkeci Konak for 3 nights for a long weekend. The hotel is small enough to be personal but big enough to have all the facilities etc that one could need. The hotel staff were extrememly helpful, pleasant & friendly & nothing was too much trouble. The food was really good & our room was fantastic with heaps of space & a lovely balcony with a great view right over the Galhane Gardens at Topkapi & the Bospherus down to the left. The pool, hammam & leisure facilities were an added bonus. The key selling point in this hotel (apart from the above-mentioned) is it's location. It is right in the midst of all the main attractions. Topkapi, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Underground Cistern, Galata Bridge, Spice Market, Grand Bazaar & the Bospherus are all within easy walking distance, or alternatively one or two stops on the tram (the tram stop is 1 minute from the hotel). There are also plenty of restaurants and tourist shops etc in the area, so it's ideal for a short break to Istanbul. Would highly recommend it & hope to return again some day.

This is a truly special hotel. No doubt the best service we've experienced in our 26 years of traveling together. The staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help in any way to make your stay perfect. The rooms are beautifully appointed (ask for a room with a balcony view over the Gulhane park). The location in the old city is ideal...right near a tram stop but on a quiet street. Walking distance to all major sights...fabulous complementary breakfast...turkish tea and sandwiches in the afternoon...rooftop bar and seafood restaurant (get the grilled sea bass!)...turkish bath, pool, sauna, massages, and fitness room all on premises...absolutely wonderful in every way...really!!!

This hotel is a gem in a busy city. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Cannot ask for more. This was our first trip to Turkey and we felt the warm hospitality of the people everywhere. Our room was always clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and you can get whatever you need. Tea time is a nice treat in the lobby. The help desk offers assistance without even being asked and we felt at home right away. What a wonderful reception since it made us comfortable right away. Love this place and recommend it to everyone visiting Istanbul. A big advantage is the free Internet. They can also arrange tours for you. Forget about the large 5 star hotels -this is better than any of them. Thanks Sirkeci Konak for everything!
