We stayed here for 10 days during the 2011 World Championships. The location wasn't bad in terms of experiencing Turkish street culture and corner cafes, but you're bombarded by cafe owners trying to push you into their establishment. There are a lot of "ladies of the night" in that neighborhood as well. The hotel elevators are small, barely fitting two people -- just one if you're in the 7-11 floors. If you have bags, it's one up, one down. The breakfast didn't settle with too many people very well and the internet was down for the last four days of our trip. Only one English speaking person working periodically and other members of the staff made a point to smoke inside, right infront of the no smoking signs. My bathroom was fine, the TV didn't work and we were next to the street, so when we opened the window, we could smell the trash outside (from six floors up). One of our friends had a toilet IN his shower, but the toilet paper roll was OUTSIDE of the glass doors.
