“Home style turkish food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 August 2014

This is the best (by far) turkish food you would ever have in istanbul. It's a must for turkish cuisine lovers. From istanbul, it's better to take the ferry boat since by taxi it's tooooo far away.

“Touristic place (not so good and essential...).”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 August 2014

I've been here with my girlfriend after a turkish guy suggested to go. I can't really understand why this place is so famous: prices are higher than in other restaurants, the food portions are small and the quality is slightly better than usual, but not that much. The waitress wasn't nice (but this happens quite often with tourists in Istanbul). I reckon this restaurant might have been great until a few years ago before tripadvisor made it great. Well: I would strongly suggest to try some other place because now this one has become too touristic, they are a bit too full of themselves. Either they cut the prices or enlarge the portions otherwise now way: I'm not going back there again.

“Awesome”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 August 2014 via mobile

I've lived in Istanbul for six months and I've tried a lot of different restaurants but this is absolutely the best! It's a little bit more expensive than the other places but it's worth it.

“Authentic and Delicious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 August 2014

This restaurant is by far the best option in all Istanbul to taste the real Turkish cuisine. Most of the foreigners think kebap as the key Turkish food but on the contrary kebap is the food of ainly south east of Turkey. Since Turkish cuisine is made up of a variety of regional specialties kebap cannot be the core. This restaurant lets you taste the best samples of the authentic Anatolian food it its best form. All ingredients come from the original location of the regional food and the food is being served in the most authentic dishes. Both the presentation and the delicious tastes take you to the very source of the real Turkish cuisine and then you realise the real Turkish food is not kebap.
Owner of the restaurant is a person who has been working on Turkish gastro world in a very academical way. All the food served is based on local recipes and ingredients with the purpose of protecting what is real Turkish.
Must go place for any real food lover who is in search of the perfect local tastes... Beware of the deserts as you very likely will go for and will want to try them all!!! Enjoy!!!
