That's exactly what it was an experience. One I thoroughly enjoyed and won't forget.
We all get help on TripAdvisor from Enigma, a true Istanbul expert and sure he would recommend this place.
Today my wife and I got to eat here with him. The staff explained each and every dish and the manager introduced himself and sat with us.
The food was wonderful, meatballs cooked with cherries, chicken with rice and nuts, kofta, lamb and aubergine plus more. Followed up by kunefe.
We ordered so much as we wanted to try it all and every dish was great.
Being in town for another week I am sure we will be back to try more.
Price was very reasonable and less than we would pay for a single meal in England.
Heartily recommend this place.

Thank David C

This restaurant was extremely recommend but we find it not so special. Good food and good prices but nothing extraordinary. The staff was ok. Nice central location in Kadikoy.

Everytime we come to asia region of istanbul we eat in here. This time we tried cia kebap and of course visne kofte which is a stew containing sour cheries and meatballs. Cia kebab is sililar to beiti kebab in europe region of turkey.
Next rime we will try tarhana soup. Unfortunately today it was not in the menu. You can see the tarhana in the photo. The origin of tarhana is Malayer in Iran. It is a wheat which is deep cooked in sour yougurt.

This is a delight. We ate like kings for 180TL (inclusive of hefty tip). The stuffed dates, weigh and pay salad, kofte and babaganush kebab were particular highlights. The waiting staff were attentive without being obtrusive. Thoroughly recommended!
