This is a bustling restaurant and a favourite of the locals including a friend who lived in Istanbul for 14 years and said it was his favourite restaurant in Istanbul. The small dining room is virtually part of the street scene and everybody is having a good time including families with young (and very delightful, well-behaved Turkish children). Try the Albanian fried and diced liver or the marinated anchovies for a starter. Excellent market fish (sea bass was sampled) and tasty lamb chops. The meatball however were a bit lacking in umph. The menu is small and this is not gourmet cooking, but the overall quality and friendly local atmosphere makes for a very enjoyable evening. Very good value for money.
