“Good shopping malls”
Reviewed 24 April 2013

If you take the Metro, you should go to the sapphire and Kanyon Shopping Malls. Kanyon is very up sacale and has very nice restaurants. Sapphire is also very nice but with more affordable brands. They are sepparated 5 blocks from each other. The Metro is easy to take, all signs are in turkish and Englis and has only one rate. You can get your token on machines that accept coins or bills.

Same shops, mall and shopping that you can find anywhere in the World.
Do you need to come Istanbul to buy Gap, Nike or Benetton?

“Levent district”
Reviewed 29 July 2012

Levent is a business district in istanbul and sports all the high end shopping malls like Kanyon, Metrocity AVM... The best part is the travel, from Taksim or Sultanahmet, in the metro all the way to Levent. The metro station opens directly in the metrocity mall. Overall its a pure business place, the dining is high end, and the malls were too expensive. I got bored of the place after a little while.

A one hour trip to this district in the whole stay should be more than enough. Metrocity mall however has some reasonable shopping places. My wife highly recommends the jewelry store "Six" which is right before the entrance of the MetroCity mall.

“The bussiness site of Istanbul”
Reviewed 23 April 2012

Levent can be accessed very easily by metro and is the center of Istanbul's finest brands. Here you can find many big malls, but I can say that the prices are ok.

“City life”
Reviewed 22 April 2012

Shopping is not the most important thing for me. If is it for you, go to Levent. Akmerkez, Kanyon, MetroCity malls; plenty of traffic and fine dining.
