We stayed in Selcuk for 9 days and ate out every night. We found most of the recommended restaurants were offering rather similar food, but the new Amazon cafe stood out. Firstly, it offers open air dining in a charming courtyard with tables lit by lanterns. Secondly, the speciality items on the menu were unlike anything we'd been offered before: thin strips of meat and vegetables in a crunchy coating served with a yoghurt sauce. Somehow, magically, the meat and veg stayed firm but blended with the sauce to give a wonderful flavour and texture in the mouth.
The restaurant is family run, and was very welcoming - but not so hot on spoking English so take your phrase book. The main courses were freshly cooked and took a little time to arrive, but were well worth the wait. I wish we'd found it sooner so we could have gone back.
