“motorcycles and all!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 August 2012

we came to this restaurant twice and didn't regret a second! it is VERY quite and the service is amazing! enjoy the relaxing under the shade of trees while munching on gozleme - best in town (and in TURKEY!). the next time we went for dinner, and we didn't have enough cash, so the owner offered a motorcycle ride to the bank - GREAT business and GREAT cost. a MUST go!

“Quiet, Cozy, Fruit Gözleme! Need I say anymore?!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 August 2012

Right in front of the Isabey Camii, it didn't look like much from the front, but we were looking for a place where we could grab a snack of gözleme (sort of a cross between crepe and quesadilla). We walked into the gardin and discovered a delightful garden with Eastern Turkey style seating (low tables surrounded by cushions) and friendly service. And then we made our most exciting discovery. Meyveli (Fruit) Gözleme! What?! We didn't know such a wonder existed! Mmmm, we tried the honey banana, and the chocolate banana (on two separate visits). In fact, people in Selcuk told us we should go to the gözleme shacks by the Grotto of the Seven Sleepers, which we did, but although their food was good, I missed the atmosphere at Karamese, so we spent our final hours in Selcuk there, enjoying their food, relaxing on the cushions, taking in the beauty of the olive and palm trees and the gardens. Loved it!
