Cheap sıngle rooms and great rooftop terrace for breakfast and beers at nıght. Breakfast was great and healthy wıth nıce coffee and tea. Also good locatıon rıght across road from bus trmınal and 1 mınute walk from cıty center, great to use as a base to explore surroundıng sıghts.

The staff at thıs hotel are extremely hospıtable. They offered great advıce for places to eat and shop. There ıs a roof top terrace where breakfast ıs served every mornıng. It ıs great value for the rooms wıth your own bathroom. You can use the kıtchen any tıme you lıke. It ıs across the street from the maın streets wıth the shops and restaurants. I was only goıng to stay 2 nıghts but ended up stayıng 4 nıghts because the atmosphere was so relaxıng.

We ended up staying a day longer because we liked Selcuk so much and were pleased with our accommodations. Our host was a great source of information-- one day he helped me arrange an independent trip to Priene and Miletos avoiding the tourist bus. He did everything he could to cater to our plans and make us welcome. For my traveling partner, this hospitality even extended to being treated to whole feast of fish one afternoon. Breakfast is great, rooms, location and staff. I didn't feel like there was too much else to ask for here.

Antik Hotel it's a good place to stay with family because the rooms are big and very comfortable. Room Service is friendly always very helpful. This hotel it's near city center but not inside - for us it's very good location. Breakfast was everyday very good (on the terrace with nice view) :)

Had a great three night stay at the Efes Antik here in Selcuk, Turkey.

The owner, Gursel, was a fantastic host! I arrived after 8pm and did not have a chance to eat dinner, so Gursel quickly whipped up a quick bite to eat in his kitchen in less than 5 minutes =). Gursel was also able to provide an abundance of information related to the local tourist sites, including Ephesus, the castle, St. John's, and the bus and train schedules. On the 2nd night Gursel invited me to join him and the other staff for a chicken and vegetable roast dinner! What an incredible host.

As for the hotel facilities, I enjoyed the free wifi, hot hot hot shower, and a very comfortable bed. The Turkish breakfast every morning was an added bonus. Despite being a single, I was given a double room, which was very clean and had lots of natural light and character!

I have been traveling the world for approximately 4 years now and the hospitality provided here at the Efes Antik Hotel by both Gursel and his staff rates right up there with the best of them. I highly recommend a stay here... you'll feel like a part of his extended family =).

We been to almost 5 cities / town's in Turkey and always stayed in Guest Houses as a backpacker, expecting that guest houses are always cheap and hotels are damn costly .

any how , we reached Selchuk at night and been looking for the Guest houses street like other backpackers near the bus station . and saw this hotel and thought to give it a try . And the price was even lower then some guest houses we stayed .

Room was Great , (honestly never expected such room in the price we paid to them during our stay in Turkey) . If you been staying in guest houses for (50-60 TL) per night , you will understand what i am talking about.

View out of the room was good too , nice balcony . and the owner did he best for every thing .

And of-course the breakfast was amazing too , like other guesthouses in turkey .

The owner of this hotel is very friendly and helpful. Goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable. Rooms very clean and the breakfast was the best we had in Turkey.

The downside is that it is very smoky. The staff appeared to have cigarettes burning constantly, and the odor was pervasive overnight.
