After a hot day exploring Ephesus, the beautifully lit little garden provided the perfect ambience for dinner last night. We shared a bottle of Buzbag, one of Turkey's delicious red wines, and a variety of mezes (small plates). On the menu: shepherd's salad, roasted sweet peppers (the standout dish of the evening), mint-seasoned yogurt, beet root salad, and spinach/cheese guzelme or pancakes. Both the meal and the service were terrific. This restaurant was the perfect place for a low-key, yet atmospheric end to a long day of sightseeing.
