Description: Great atmosphere. You could have a great meal with ancient sightseeing. Near by the centre and the main hearth of the city location fun area, water and fountain near by old aqueduct pillars in the background. adana shish kebab of beef/lamb tasted distinctly of mutton though. Complimentary Turkish bread fresh hot out of the wood oven and Turkish pizza, traditional meal also usually homemade, vegetarian meze plate village-style lamb ,Wonderful baklava and künefe dessert.

Nur sits in Selcuk town centre right next to the fountain and overlooking the beautiful aquaduct and resident Storks. The food is basic but fabulous and very good value. The two gents who run the place are unobtrusive but very friendly and pleasant. We have been there about five times on two seperate adventures in Turkey and have never been disappointed. Great place which we all heartily recommend!

We went to this restaurant for an iftar meal, so we were pretty starving when we got there. The food was incredible. The lentil soup was some of the best I've ever had. It was rich and flavorful, not just boiled lentils like some other places serve. They gave us a fresh-baked pide to enjoy with our baba ghanouj, and it was a welcome change from the stale, baguette-style bread we had been served in other places. My husband loved his baked fish, and I was very satisfied by the imam bayldi (stuffed eggplant). The servers were really helpful, but like other reviewers said, not intrusive (ours was named ibo and he was awesome). They gave us a bottle of water on the house. We will definitely come back sometime!

The restaurant is located in a nice area, with seating next to a fountain and with tables in the evening sun. The staff was very attentive but not intrusive. BUt now the best, the food was amazing, I had Imam bayildi andit was truely delicious - great for a vegitarian. And my mom cant eat milk but they offered to make everythign without cheese - for me a sign that it s all fresh.
There was appetizer and tea as a gift - we definetely recommend this place!

Thank you for the very nice evening we will keep a good memory of it!

We had dinner here not thinking what to expect and it turned out to be one of the excellent Turkish food we ever had in an equally excellent atmosphere. We had Iskender Kebab, Special Chicken and Fillet. The bread they served was made at their restaurant and was enormous.

One of the excellent place to have dinner and highly recommended.

There are quite a few restaurants in the Selcuk town centre and as menus are similar you use other factors to determine which one to dine in. This particular restaurant had just a little bit less tourists than the others ones in the area so it was chosen.

Staff was friendly but not pushy - did not try to push specific dishes like so many places seem to do. Ordered the cold mix meze, sarma, and raki. The complementary bread was fresh out of the oven, has good chew and good char, and the dishes had flavour but weren't over-seasoned. Prices were very reasonable and portion sizes good - things that are more important than decor or how the food presentation was. Combined with the nice weather and view, it was a good dining experience.

3.5 stars for the food (taste and price)
+0.5 star for good staff (friendly)
+1 star for nice location and view
