We stayed at Villa Dreams for a couple of days and everything was great. The staff, the rooms, the food and the service was excellent. The two owners were friendly and we have beautiful warm fires at night as it wa just cooling off. A fantastic view and a great deck. A great place for families, just friends or a romatice getaway for couples

We loved our stay so much we came back again with friends after our sailing trip. The staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast on the balcony was lovely. If you can catch one of the nights they do a BBQ it's worth staying in. The balcony is the best spot, looking out over the Aegean at sunset after cooling off in the pool after a day at Ephesus comparing notes with other guests was fabulous - we all got on so well we continued the evening together at Ali Baba's in twon which served one of the best value meals of the trip.

Room Tip: South side, upper floors

A nice place up on the side of the town with a beautiful view over the Ephesus Citadel. Breakfast on the terrace, nice pople running it. We really enjoyed the sitting outside for breakfast. Like everything you get what you pay for and this was good value. One of the partners Recep was six years in Canada with perfect English which is a rarity in turkey and he can sort out whatever problems arise easily. It is not a place to go if you either dont have a car or dont like climbing up a steep hill, but if you do have a car, stay there as the view is spectacular and they have a swimming pool. free wifi and would undoubtedly stay there again. If no car their other place Dreams behind the bus station is also very pleasant. It is a B and B and for what it is itis great but great service it isnt but it is not that kind of place and throughout turkey you get what you pay for. The side roads are bad in Turkey so dont go expecting 1st world standards because it aint - but they have a warmth and friendliness that I just love and it is cheap by any other standards. Turkey pensions dont do wardrobes quite often.

Room Tip: rooms arent that big - there is a spectacular top floor family room which is great in the spring and...

1. The road up to the hotel is low-standart.Watch huge holes and especially the one, which is not far from the hotel as there you seriously can damage your car ! I warned the reception about that hole and asked why they did not do anything about it - because it is their road and the hole is very close to the hotel and it will affect anyone driving up there - I told them them it would not be difficult , at least to get the hole filled with something to stop the cars from falling into it.But they did not seem to be bothered about that..So to speak, if you are driving up there, watch your way..
2.There is no space for your car.You park somewhere and the area is not that safe looking in terms of roads and car parking spaces.
3.The room we were given was small and you are not able to open the room and the bathroom doors at the same time.
4.The bed was too soft to sleep on and we had back aches in the morning.Obviously, small rooms have small bathrooms ,which are not that comfortable.
5.In the evening, we sat at the terrace by the swimming pool and asked something to eat there and we were told that they had nothing to serve us ! So, we went down to the Selcuk centre to feed ourselves. There are no waiters, nobody watching your orders or asking you what to drink or eat and you must go to the kitcheny bit of the hotel outside to ask for drinks or food.
6.We told them we would leave the hotel early in the morning and asked them to prepare us something to eat - at least a sandwich maybe.. - but noone is interested in and we lost our breakfast - hotel runs BB basis by the way-
7.The only good thing is : beautiful views of the Selcuk Castle and St John's Basilica..Apart from that not recommended to anyone for staying over than one night at all .. !

Villa Dreams is the perfect place to stay and to enjoy all the sights of this area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable and very clean, breakfast was good on the terrace with the amazing view, wich is also a lovely place to have a beer and watch the sunset. We had a BBQ dinner that was really delicious. The pool is big and very clean and the perfect place to relax!
I totally enjoyed my stay there!

The Villa Dreams hotel is located on the outskirts of Selcuk, very close to Ephesus. Most of the rooms have a terrific view over the castle and to sit on the terrace, watching the sunset was lovely. There is a pool, with sun loungers and a hammock, tables looking down over the town, serving delicious breakfasts. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is a bit out of the centre of town, but don't let that put you off.. they have a sister hotel in the town and a free shuttle bus/taxi to take you back to the hotel whenever you want
