Nilya hotel is a neat boutique hotel. Rooms are small but comfortable. Breakfast is nice with a plate of fruit and eggs made to order.

It has a neat courtyard and really nice helpful staff. Hospitable is the right word. Great value for money and near the town.

The staff here will drive you to the main attractions and then pick you up for no extra charge. This is a great service and makes planning your Ephesus attraction visits easy.

It has a sister hotel Bella which you should eat at with a set price menu for 25 Turkish lire. Excellent value. The Bella hotel is slightly better positioned but each has its charms.

Tip try a shave at a local barber for 5 lire. An invigorating experience.

We checked out from nilya hotel today. Stayed there for 2 nights. As others have mentioned the room was beautifully decorated. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We borrowed their umbrella on our tour to Ephesus. Since we arrived here at night and it was also drizzling, we had a hard time locating the hotel. Circled around thrice before asking the bella hotel guys for help. More road signs would be really helpful. They do have a convenient shuttle service to Ephesus every day in the morning at 9:30, and they pick up at 12:30pm. However, I would not take their shuttle back since 3 hours is not enough for a leisurely checking out the ruins.

I spent one night here and can't recommend it highly enough. It's a bit of a challenge in the winding roads, but a great treasure when you do come upon it. The owners are both fantastic and will sit you down for a welcome tea and give you the lay of the land. The location is fantastic, and everything is walking distance. Do take advantage of their great rooftop meal at the Hotel Bella, their other property. The rooms are great, service is top notch and the this is THE place you should stay at for 5 our Ephesus trip.

Our family of 4 stayed one night in this charming hotel. Had two rooms adjacent each other. Rooms very nicely decorated and neat and clean bathrooms. Nice breakfast in quiet outdoor courtyard. Very close to historical sites and could walk everywhere. Ate dinner at sister hotel (Bella)- was ok food but great view on rooftop opposite ruins. Quiet and comfy. Helpful staff. Free tea and coffee in reception.

My sister and I stayed at the Nilya for 3 nights in April 2014. We were met at the airport and escorted to the charming hotel in a quiet residential neighborhood, only 3 blocks from the town. Our room was nicely decorated with Turkish carved wooden beds. The courtyard was charming to sit in, and the lobby where we had breakfast had shelves of guide books we could borrow.

The owner sat with us and lent us guide books, and explained what we should visit and how we should see things. The next day after a good breakfast with eggs made to order and fruits and yougurt, the owner drove us and some other hotel guests to the entrance to Ephesus, and then picked us up 3 hrs later and took us to a charming place for lunch by christian catacombs, and then to see other famous ruins in the area. The next day he drove us to a charming hilltop wine village. Unbelievable service.
I also want to mention that their other hotel - the Bella 2 blocks away, has a wonderful rooftop restaurant. The 4 course meal was so good and so reasonable priced that we ate there 2 nights in a row.

Room Tip: we were on a 2nd floor room at the Nilya. It is quiet and very peaceful. The Bella is a little nois...

We did not expect the most inviting hotel to be Hotel Nilya...it was decorated very nicely with Turkish ceramics, woodwork. The views from the patio are incredible. Our room had a very nice bathroom, beds comfortable. We really enjoyed the breakfast and
dinner. Hotel staff are very hospitable. Ephesus was only 5 km away.

This is a small hotel that is wonderously decorated. The walls in and out of the rooms are full of pretty ceramics and furniture. There's a flat screen TV over the fireplace but no TV in the room. The breakfast was quite good served in the reception. Fatima did a good job every morning, The small garden resembled the rest of the decor...meticulous
