“Not such good value for money”

We were a little disappointed. Nice atmosphere, nice room and excellent breakfast, but we thought it expensive for what you got. For example, we felt we should have got a TV in our room for the price. We've stayed in several pensions in Turkey and for less than half the price of this hotel, we got an excellent room, with ensuite and a TV.

Great hospitality in the best Turkish style, with sensitive clarity for non-Turkish guests about what's included. A native English speaker on the team is perhaps part of the secret of an excellently orchestrated and articulated service, but Nazmi and 'the boys' are so good in their own right too. Location ideal for Ephesus, where we'd say it's worth paying for a guide. The Basilica of St John is also worth a visit just over the road from the Bella, Nilya's sister, where we ate well on both our nights' stay.

Extremely friendly staff who were really helpful with everything we needed and beautifully decorated. Beds were very firm (fine for me but my partner found them uncomfortable) but a lovely stay overall. Excellent breakfasts. Nothing was too much trouble.

This is a lovely hotel, in a quiet location with well decorated rooms and close to everything in Selcuk. Owners and staff are very attentive, driving guests to Ephesus and for us, stopping so we could pick up some lunch on our way. Breakfast was very good. Also, recommend having dinner at their other hotel, very good food in a roof top restaurant.

Located in the wonderful city of Selcuk, I stayed at the charming Nilya hotel. Along with the charm of this hotel are the owners and their wonderful staff. They understand how to treat their guests with a high degree of service and care. The level of hospitality was far beyond my expectations. Erdal, one of the owners sat with us for over an hour on the first day and physically drew 4 maps of destinations we were planning to visit in addition to those special hideaway places you would never know about. Rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and overlooking an open courtyard where breakfast was served or afternoon tea was enjoyed. He also owns one of the better, higher end galleries with gorgeous rugs, ceramics, etc. A must stay!

We stayed one night at a nearby hotel and were not happy. So, we came to this hotel because it was within walking distance and received good reviews. They were kind and let us check in quite early. The room was very clean and the decorations were gorgeous. You can tell the staff cares about the details to make your stay that much better. It was refreshing not to have a breakfast buffet; instead we were served at our table. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel because it is away from the noise of the town, but close enough to get anywhere within Selcuk.

Spent three nights, was very happy. Large clean room. Quiet, except the morning call to prayer wake up, that I guess comes with most any Muslim country. Good breakfast, eggs to order. If you like cats, you will be very happy. They seem to be everywhere. Hotel arranged airport transport and a guide, all went well. Entrance from an alley, with lots of construction on outside, but once inside walled area, is quite nice. Owner would do anything I think, very sincere about helping and suggestions.

Room Tip: we had a sort of suite on 1st floor, 2 rooms, open between. Was nice.
