With its charming, solicitous and knowledgeable staff, Jimmy's is a great place to hang your hat for a longer term stay in the Selcuk area. It is steps away from the central restaurant area, and bus stop, and has an in-house travel planning service.

We had a delightful night at Jimmy's Place. The hotel was great, in the perfect location and with lovely rooms. Adam and Jimmy were exceptional - they made us feel like we were sitting by the fire chatting with old friends. The meal was fantastic - Adam actually went out to buy us whatever we wanted and then cooked for us. We even bought a wonderful carpet from Jimmy's shop at the hotel. We would definitely stay there again!

The hotel was very easy to find, we arrived at the otogar and followed the map from Jimmy's excellent website. A short walk. We had a warm welcome and within a short time we were sitting down to a delicious dinner in front of a warm fire. Both very welcome after a long bus ride. The room was very comfortable, staff friendly and hotel well situated for easy walk around town. Selcuk is a nice town with plenty of eating options including Jimmy's restaurant. The Hotel Travel desk run by Adem is very convenient to use. Adem has all the knowledge that is needed for local and country wide travel. He booked us on buses/hotel and tours, with now problems. I would recommend this friendly Hotel to all travellers including families.

I stayed 3 nights at Jimmy's Place and I have not regretted my choice for a second.

Friendly people, nice spacious rooms, perfect service, no matter what you ask, Adem and his brothers see to it that it happens. Combine all this with the typical Turkish hospitality and you're in for a real relaxing holiday in Efes.

Upon arrival, we were very tired and hungry and what a pleasure it was to be greeted by Jimmy himself and offered a place by the fire and some çay while our rooms were prepared. This hospitality was indeed indicative of the whole experience. The rooms were commodious, comfortable and clean and were decorated in a simple Turkish style and I believe every room has a balcony. Breakfast was simple but tasty and we actually had their dinner on our first evening and it was excellent. Though Selçuk is a small town and nothing is very far away, I still felt that Jimmy's was ideally situated. I highly recommend a visit to this sleepy little Turkish town, and Jimmy's is the place!

Okay, I cheated on the dates of the trip because I was slow to get around to writing a review and October 2009 wasn't an option to choose, but this was such a pleasant place to stay that I didn't want to completely fail to get a review in. We spent 3.5 weeks in different parts of Turkey, staying in a broad range of accommodations, but this little place was our favorite of all. We spent 3 nights here and wished we could have stayed longer. It's very close to the spectacular (but crowded) ruins at Ephesus, and yet this town was very relaxed and comfortable. The hotel Jimmy's Place, previously known as Hotel Artemis, is well-run, efficient, and clean, and the staff is friendly and easy to understand. Though you'd probably want a ride out to Ephesus, there is really a lot to see and do right in this town too, and it's all very much worthwhile. We had a rental car that we used to drive to Ephesus one day;, the rest of the time it just sat parked in front of the hotel.

This was a second time in three years I spent time at Jimmy's. The service, food, rooms, rug shop, and especially the STAFF were amazing. Very friendly, hospitable and polite. We felt very taken care of ! Couldn't have stayed anywhere else.
