Fantastic pension with great relaxing atmosphere and dedicated owners who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We arrived after midnight but a staff member was there to pick us up from the bus station and carried my luggage up numerous flights of stairs. He then offered me a glass of Pamukkale wine since we had arrived too late for their usual sunset drinks!! Great dinner on the rooftop with views of Selcuk.

After some bad luck and a few issues in my previous accommodation in Turkey I finally felt at ease at the Homeros Pension! Dervish went out of his way to help me sort out the trouble I had encourtered and to ensure I experienced the renowned Turkish hospitality. I can not tell them how greatful I am!

Of course the rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, the hotel quiet at night and the food absolutely amazing (and well priced) but it the little extras that you remember.

I would recommend this place to anyone!

Wonderful place to stay. Like a boutique hotel at a hostel price. Not a "party" hostel, but definitely opportunities to meet many different kinds of people. The entire staff provided genuinely warm and friendly service at every opportunity, including providing free transportation to Ephesus. Our room (two twin beds with ensuite bathroom) was eclecticly decorated, clean and very cool thanks to a great air conditioner. Shower was large, with hot water and great pressure. Relatively quiet, although an open pipe let us hear the people upstairs perhaps a bit too clearly. Breakfast was fresh and light. Free coffee and tea all day. Affordable ice cold waters, beers, sodas, etc. available on site. Free glass of red or white wine every night at 8 pm on the upper terrace, the highest in Selcuk. Simply perfect views. Outstanding. Hearty home-cooked meal is available for around 17 TL every night; well worth trying at least one night of your stay. Generous portions, good food. Great location, very close to train station, bus station, St. John's Basilica, Tower of Artemis and many restaurants and shops. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and you should, too. We can't recommend it enough!

We arrived early after an overnight bus and we were immediately welcomed and given breakfast. We also had an amazing home cooked meal and spent the evening on the top level drinking red wine and raki. Fun experience!

The pension is near the bus station and the center.
The owner speaks a good english and is very kind. You will receive a welcome free glass of wine at 20.30 on the terrace so you can enjoy the sunset and the Selçuk Sightview
The room was very nice and well furnished, nice bathroom too.
Our room has a sight to the artemisis temple (just one column..ehehe)
There's air conditioning.
The wifi wasn't working. You can use a laptop they have in the breakfast terrace.
You have to pay cash, turkish lires or euros, no credit card.
Breakfast is a plate of fruits, bread with cheese or marmelade, tea or coffee and one egg.
The treatment is very familiar and the atmospheare is cozy!
The owner is so nice that allow us to have a shower after visiting Ephesus though we had already check out in the morning.

Super highly reccomended!

this is great place.. Dervish, Shaziye and Mama were helpful and hospital, the setting is quiet and convenient to all the major sights. We enjoyed wine on the terrace, meals ( breakfast and dinner ) were good, the atmosphere and ambiance made them extraordinary.

This is a place to make friends, eat the most delicious home-cooked dinners, enjoy the sunset from the rooftop with a complimentary glass of wine and be treated as if you were the most special person in the world by Derviş, the loveable, charming, funny and entertaining proprietor. If you like funky-folksy decoration in your room and surroundings, this is the place for you! Our room and beds were comfy; with efficient air-condition and smooth wireless - and plenty to 'explore' on walls, shelves, cabinets - all covered with textiles and artifacts. The evening meals, served on a canopied terrace with guests seated on 'ottomans' are the most delightful social (and culinary) events - with Derviş, sure to entertain you, maybe even dance for you! We stayed four nights, wished we could have lingered a lot longer and left feeling sad but with the happy memories of a great home-away-from-home.
